the closest i was to a 20 was back in season 3 when the mastiff was still a package weapon, got 17 that day. never been close since, these pubs are too hard now
Try taking some time off of rank to lower your rank and try it in those lobbies

I have 2 one bomb 4k on lifeline and 5000 kill on path I have 2400 with 3k
When coming across this video I've already hit multiple 20 bombs, but it's now become my go-to video to send to my friends who are yet to hit them and constantly ask about how I manage to get such high kill / high damage games. Great explanation scrappy, I got the boys to sub to you ;)

Your videos are amazing scrappy , honestly I started being more agressive and having more confidence in my self , because of how calming your voice is ,u make me feel I can do anything as long as I have the right kind set , b4 your channel I was having low damage per games , I havnt gotten a 2k or 4k yet I recently started getting better , in a game I'd get like 2 kill but 1400 damage, ur content is quality gee

The main thing is sheer dumb luck or abuse of the matchmaking system. Nobody, not even guys like Shiv or Hal, are going to drop a 20 against opponents of similar skill. It's just not doable. So for me as a Diamond/Masters player coming up against nothing but Diamond/Masters/Pred players in my pubs means that my average K/D is going to be exactly what it is now: 1.71. Why? Because I'm not better than these guys, so every fight is 50/50.
It's not about trying harder AT ALL. You cannot try harder to exceed your current skill level. You can raise your skill level, but if your skill level goes up, so does your SBMM meaning you just renewed your problem rather than rising above it. This is why SBMM is a cancer on gaming. It removes your sense of progression. My K/D Is only 0.41 higher than it was in S3 when I first started. That seems pathetic, right? Like I haven't gotten better? Yet when I smurfed once, I dropped a 4773 damage 23 kill game on my first go. So clearly I'm not the issue. The SBMM is. I have progressed, the game has just not shown it because they're putting me up against nothing but opponents of identical skill, meaning my results remain the same.
I will simply never get a 20 bomb on my main account. I've had 17 kills and a few 4Ks more than once during the period where I got better while my SBMM hadn't caught up yet, but no 20 bombs. It literally is impossible now thanks to SBMM. I don't think I've even had a game where I had more than 5 kills yet in S16. A fucking Masters player who can't get more than 5 kills in a month's time.
To anyone who wants a 20 bomb: Keep very up to date with the matchmaking system, and find a way to abuse it to lower/remove your SBMM on a new update. That way you might get into normal tier lobbies for once and actually manage to apply your skills. It has almost nothing to do with how good you are. It's all about what opponents you have. Respawn is simply retarded and is ruining this game with their utterly atrocious SBMM.

@@xLilscrappy It isn't a mindset. It's a fact. Throughout this entire video, I saw literally zero enemies who had more than a basic/blue skin, and nobody strafed any gunfire whatsoever. They ran in straight lines. You're fighting total bots. Dunno how you manage to get into those lobbies at your skill level, but if we could all do that, every Plat player and higher would have a 20 bomb by now.
Like I said, I smurfed once and got it done on my very first attempt. Still have that account. In my lobbies, I literally don't even have the time to get the kills. There's about 12 squads left some forty seconds after dropping. You had 19 squads left two minutes after dropping. That's a sign of a bot lobby. It's not about your skill after a certain point. It's about the skill of your opponents. You're a Pred player. When's the last time you dropped a 20 bomb in a Pred lobby?
Once you make a video doing that, I'll change my mind.

Great vid. I got 20 bombs playing w controller on pc (laptop lol) way early on and have only gotten 19 on my main that has the higher KD (never dropping below 2 since drop which I’m def proud of). Of all the things you were saying, I really like how you explained the idea of “assessing immediate threats” I swear I always get into arguments about this type of stuff w people in ranked. For example, if someone is running away hard, then definitely assess for third party, your teams health/resources in the moment, before just pushing someone who isn’t an immediate or dangerous threat to overall teams survival in that moment.

Closest ive been to a 20 bomb was 16 kills with loba, ended up playing 1v3 because my team died early and left, i got the 4k badge that game but finishing people off on trios is much more difficult, so the duo tip is 100% right
the same thing happened to me in trios, i was octane main that time and did 16 kills and 4k dmg but 1v3 every fight.
Doesnt matter what I do, I always get between 10-15 kills. This is one of the things I just cant do where others below my skill level can do it. If I'm too aggressive I die, if I'm too passive I lose kills.

Watching your vids really helped my gameplay, what do you do though when you can't split teams apart for 1vs1's ? I notice you play really close range because you want to finish fights quick but in ranked vs diamond plus unless you seperate them close range aggro is suicide right ?

I struggled for the longest time to get a 20 in warzone, but eventually got a few 20’s before switching to apex. Now I gotta start from square one and try to get a 20 on apex. Got a long road ahead of me because my highest kills is only 10 🤦🏻♂️

Or we can realize that most people with 20 bombs start a new account to and get it within the first few games of new account.
I played the first 2 seasons and left, came back for season 15. In the 18 months or so I've been playing (albeit very spread out,) the closest I've got was 13 kills. I have my moment where I make awesome plays but I'm just not consistent and don't have the time to put in to get better than that. It shows to me aswell that I'm a good player because I'm always pitted against higher level lobbies but because I don't get enough time to remain consistent, I get rusty and struggle in the higher lobbies I'm always pushed into.
Not really an way to tell if you are good because the sbmm is just straight garbage i get like what mates with a 2k vs pre made full stack masters
@Baum I know there are changes coming to sbmm but generally speaking if I remember correctly, there was a metric recorded by the game used in sbmm that went by the amount of inputs you put in while playing. People with quicker reactions and better accuracies were supposed to be the ones who are pitted against each other. For some reason when I play solo I get matched against players higher level than me but my teammates are the absolute worst and have either no experience or no idea how to even take fights. Its supposed to be an average score across the team and the amount of time I end up running solo because the 2 teammates die and quit is well over half my games. I can only go by my own experience though.
@@baum9048 You get teammates with a 2k against pre-made Master/Pred sweats? I get level 187s whose best badge is having killed one squad by themselves once against pre-made Master/Pred stacks.

I started playing in season 9, I've started seeing myself getting better now, regularly dropping 10+ kill games, so I'm guessing eventually the 20 bomb will come, just gotta keep grinding

I’ve been playing for 2 seasons and have got 10 kills and 12 knocks in trios and I’ve almost got the 2k badge I got the predator badge on multiple legend dead eye and back to back win and squad wipe on multiple legends. But a 20 bomb seems crazy like a lot of luck involved

Hey man thanks for the tips before I'd average 5-6 kills now its 10-12 highest was 15😂
the flat line in my opinion is low key the best gun in the game with just the iron sight. i know scrappy mentioned the hip fire got nerfed...but what didn't get nerfed, is that after your ADS to hip fire you keep the ADS accuracy on this gun along with its pace, you can hit some one for 130 with just 5 bullets from 20+ meters away after going from ads to hip fire. also what this does is that it changes your straffe speed. it gives you two speeds instead of a constant speed. an initial straffe speed when you ADS, and increased straffe spped when you hip fire(by 20%). this exponentially make you harder to track when you toggle back and forth between those two speeds, as your brain has a feature that is predicting of future trajectory of a tracking object, and when the speed is variant in change of direction, it makes extremely difficult for it properly calculate and track that object. this way of shooting and strafing is also very good on the spitfire. basically slow pace, high damage. i wonder if that's why these two guns have such bad visablity on their iron sights, in that if you use those guns in this way, the iron sight visablity issue is not even relevant

@scrappy my biggest problem is the visibility and hit detection half my bullets i feel dont connect properly the game feels slow and when i shoot or get shot i caunt see anything so WHATS YOUR MONITOR SETTINGS
as an mnk player what helped me is playing toggle ads. You probably think im crazy but once you get used to its so much better. I used to clench my fingers so hard and with toggle its super smooth, oneclipping like a controller player. got the 20kill badge on path and mirage for now
Good tips, but it seems like your lobbies are way easier than mine.
I already did a 20 bomb some seasons ago, but now it seems impossible, even though im a way better player now.
My lobbies have gotten insanely hard, filled with masters and predators, i have got a 2.0 K/D and Play on PC, Frankfurt Servers btw.
Any tips on how to get easier lobbies instead? Because i feel like not even pro players could get 20 bombs in my lobbies.
that’s a good point. sometimes i forget to play cover cuz i’m feelin hot and not missing. then i remember controller players have aim assist too and can one clip the hell out of me. Goes to show you need aim and brain and consistency to be good.
Season 5 I got to 15 kills and that’s the closest I’ve ever gotten to a 20 badge. Ever since then I’ve had a solid amount of 10-12 kill games but never sniffed a 20 bomb again.
I'm nowhere near that level but grinding it and will take alot from this video cheers

My hiest kill game is 16, but my lobbies die too fast because half my lobbies are 4k 20 bomb squads its season 19 it's not that I don't have the skill it's just everybody else in my lobbies is good or better than me so an average game I get about 10 and that's me chasing every team down using evacs, runing to every gunshot i hear its still not enough lol....any advice?

Something to keep in mind, if someone else is going for a 20 in your lobby, it's not gonna happen, so just keep trying! Its luck too
