My positioning and not knowing when to engage and disengage in fights is the reason why I can’t drop a 4K or even a 20 bomb

I drop a 3k a few days ago with 4 kills 5 knocks and I wasn’t even going for it.
I do decent damage but I still struggle in a lot of places and I’m working on it.
Same the closest I got was 19 kills and 3.8k damage 😭
Was playing fills and didn’t tell them anything and I don’t think they would care
What's sad for me is I have 2 20 bombs and my highest damage is still 3.5k. My gibby 20 bomb was 2899 damage lmao

@@Peppi_P-YT I guess to be fair on the damage I got that in season 2 or 3 and evos weren't a thing yet I don't think
I usually don't respect other people's skill in PUBs, which is probably my biggest struggle. I usually end up getting higher kills and damage in ranked because I take a moment to think in ranked instead of fighting like crazy in PUBs.
So you know what to do... Now do it!! Love the self awareness
Subjectively speaking I think it’s good to not respect the oppositions skill. That disrespect should coupled with good positioning l, patience and timed aggression?
I find that sometimes respecting the opposition can lead to too much hesitation, doubt and passive plays. highest rank is platinum 2 but the times I wipe pred level players is when I don’t respect their skill while doing my due diligences
@@cliffordmaseru4629 When I say, "respect their skill" I don't mean that I play more passive. It just means that I take a more thoughtful look at weapons, positioning, and shields before committing to the fight.

First time watching scrappy and intuitively I can tell this gonna be ultra helpful with getting my first 4k. Can also confirm scrappy’s claims of self imposed limitation. I have multiple 3k dmg games on my 4 main legends and multiple 2.5K on my minor legends.
If you can get 2K on multiple occasions you’re mechanically capable of getting a 4k, composure, patience and effective decision making make the difference imo

I don't care too much about getting a 4k badge, other than just wanting my banner to look nice but I like watching these kinds of videos because there's a lot you can take from them to improve as a player as a whole. I definently feel like I learned a lot and hopefully I can put this knowledge into practice.

Honestly your tip of land hot but make sure you have your uncontested area helped more than I imagined. Dropped my first 20 yesterday and broke my damage record! It was on caustic so it’s shunned on but whatever.❤️

This is so helpful, thank you! I loveeeee the play-by-play commentary because the live examples with your highlighted thought processes are incredibly useful. I definitely prefer this over watching someone’s game in which they give miscellaneous advice every few seconds not pertaining to the fights at hand.

i’ve recently been getting better at apex by using little techniques like constantly holstering your weapon and this video helped me a lot with strategic thinking and when to push and not push
First smart apex player I’ve ever seen. Genuinely analyses the game instead of playing wraith, running away everytime you lose a gunfight, and engaging 15 times until you win
Not everyone plays wraith you just have something against wraith mains
Few hours before watching this, I got 2499 damage (which is my new best) and I’m really annoyed looking back, because for 90 percent of the game I assumed I’d get maybe around 1500, and I was playing with that mindset, e.g letting my teammates thirst my kills, seeing enemies but choosing not to attack etc.
this is actually insane, this popped up on my recommended. an hour later i get my 4k badge/17 kills in duo trios
Just hit my first 4k damage game after watching this incredible feeling got a 16 kill win close to the 20 bomb too
I’m still very new to apex i have 1 full season played I been watching scrappy videos for a couple weeks. Dropped 3.5k dmg. Here’s are my tips. #1 red tier weapons put out a lot of dmg. The hemlock kills very fast. kraber puts 140. All my skirmish class players track down those care packages EARLY! You can fight a whole team easy with a red tier weapon. #2 don’t set a goal. Once you have atleast 2k dmg switch play styles and farm. Just be patient and learn to fight. You got this.!!!

As someone who had the biggest damage dealt in the 1400 area, this is very helpful. I should try playing duos more often.

bro no cap i literally dropped 3925 with 11kill and 16 knocks after doing what you said thats the closest ive ever been to a 4k and on lifeline at that thank you this mentality Genuine shifted my gameplay and im better for it thank you so much
at 8:20 the map your playing on it feels like you have to land a hot drop to find enough people to fight, as it is a GIGANTIC map. But for other maps i completely understand other maps. Thanks for the tips and to push people to achieve. Good Creating my Dude

If you guys really wanna know how to drop a 4K. Pick up your best smg and pick up a g7 or a rampage with a three times and hold down R2 on everything that moves. Finish all your kills and make sure you’re playing with friends that will let you farm at the end if youre not there yet.

I just dropped my first 3k and was thinking of what you told me in the video and it helped now I have to try and drop a 4k but I didn’t even know I dropped one till endgame. But don’t force it if you can’t get it right away

So, I love this commentary and throught process, my issue is that my aim is 70% garbage. I think the most kills in a game I've gotten is less then 10, and my highest damage was 1.5k

I usually play ranked if I want high damage games. Pubs for me are just run and gun whereas ranked in can slow down and take a minute to decide what fights are good to take and which aren’t

Got my 4K in Season 11 and got my 20 Bomb in Season 18, and I can tell everyone now that kills and damage do not stack. My 4K game I had 18 kills, but in my 20 Bomb game I had 3K damage. Getting damage is easier than getting kills as you don’t need to run into as many players.

Positioning and 1v1s are my weakness. I keep getting greedy and end up pushing out in the open in order to win my 1v1. Forgetting that just because I can trade with the enemy team, my teammates might need a 3rd too

Got my first 20kill game yesterday, so happy bro the feeling was indescribable. I'm quite new to the game, playing for around 3 months now and max kills were 18. About week ago I decided "I'm grinding for the 20bomb on my main legend' I have had a couple 4ks already but still max 18 kills until yesterday. There were times in the past week I wanted to quit but kept telling myself that if I quit ill never do it. I had a good drop with 8 kills and looked at the squads left and calculated that if I kill every team left I can make it. I told my random that I'm going for the 20kills and he obliged by doing a "tea bag" lol. we ran into a team, knocked 1 and insta thirsted and then heard more gun shots close by.. I told my random that we leave now and maybe allow the to respawn. anyway, long story short i killed mostly everyone left and was on 18kills with 1 squad remaining. long and behold the last team was that team i allowed to respawn and i killed both to hit the 20 kills...i want mad. if i didn't allow the guy to respawn his teammate and instead killed both then i would have ended on 19 kills :D never give up guys it'll come eventually trust the process.

I used to play with a friend who was overly competitive and would rage quit more often than not whenever he’d have good games but couldn’t get like a 20 bomb or 4K whenever he got close. He’d blame me and/or our other teammate for stealing “his kills “ while he did like 60dmg to some of them, which got really annoying. That’s the main reason I stopped playing with people who take the game way too seriously and can’t just play to have fun.
I've dropped 11 kills ONE time and it was season 0 or 1. I don't think I could do it again, ever.

With the mmr it is no where short of impossible to achieve this. 100% of my games are sweaty to the 5th degree. I seriously didn't know what sweaty games were till they permanently locked me into them.
