We can see that contesting god spot is important especially in late game, which enables rehect to control engagements from c9 and serenity. This allowed them to win the game. Sheesh the analysis of algs never seemed to amaze me.
One thing I also didn't include is that C9 (idk about Serenity) didn't know that was Reject, when there was only 2 Wattson teams in the lobby and both were match point. It wasn't to important to include cause their comms C9 says they're gonna play for the win, but would've been interesting to see how it would've unfolded if both teams tried to grief Reject
@@JumbaGW one of the teams made the call to go for 2nd place, no? best case scenario would be for both of them to collab to deny Reject the win. But I don't think they would have succeeded anyway, their position was just terrible.
C9 says play for second but immediately switches up and says play for win, their comms were so hectic at the end it made it tough to include and kinda changed nothing so i left them out. They only say "was that reject" after they died which didn't fit the flow
I love these videos because it feels like I’m watching a war documentary with all the comms and bullets and explosions. It’s just people hunched over computers but MAN you make it feel so real and visceral. You get the stakes and intensity with this beautiful editing
7:04 and onwards felt like that real war scenario! I know exactly what you mean! I can’t find it right now, but there was one with two teams being bombarded near camps and right in the middle of the chaos it cuts to someone with a sentinel just watching everything explode with all the gunshots going off!
amazing analysis, thank you very much for the video! all of these comms are so important to here. especially for someone like me who has spent pretty much most of her life playing tactical shooters like CS or Siege and is just now getting into Apex because of all of the friends that I have who are playing it
Once I saw Reject Winnity set up after the SSG fight I knew the tournament was over. It didn't help that the two other teams had to fight (territory wise) it was open sight lines while Reject had cover. Seeing the finals live at the Galen Center was crazy.
such a great video man it's always so fascinating to see all the little things that culminate in a team winning on match point thanks for making this vid!
its crazy that all of them are on the exact same page as to whats happening in the game. like theres no question about locations with priority, when and where the action is going to happen, and how each team will likely respond. nuts game sense.
I really enjoyed your editing my guy, it really kept me on the edge of my seat. As a OG S1 that enjoys watching more than playing now this made me lock in and relive the early comp days.
as someone who has never really been able to get into this game's esport side, these videos are awesome. the storytelling is so good and makes it very easy to understand. good stuff man
Takeaway's from this video apart from the obvious: C9 have a Leader in Naughty now. He no longer is the player that gets beaten down by others verbally. Impressive performance. RC had it all figured out from Zone 1. Every rotate and decision was with the mentality of THIS IS OUR WIN and the conviction to never delay. DZ was afraid of Aurora, with good reason, to rotate through them. The extra loot time prepared E8 for the fight and let them see every move DZ took before arriving. E8 actually played it incredibly smart and if this wasn't DZ but any other teams, they hold this spot until SSG thirds. So much to digest from this one game alone. We're blessed in Apex currently with multiple teams at the top level, and a lot of them aren't even NA!
Nice video, I was the LAN watching the game and I just couldn't figure out and believe how is it that Reject managed to survive and domain all the mayhem if there was a ton of teams to come
In this case u dont want to have to god spot early if u know that the whole lobby can recognize the god spot. This reminds me of the first couple of days playing Apex and thinking being in the middle of the end-zone was god spot. Not realizing u will get shot from all directions of the lobby. Great video again!
Love the shoutout to Reisshub. Been watching both you and him for a long time now and it’s cool to see the similarities and differences between the 2 games
This is like the Team fight breakdown equivalent from League of Legends, but in APEX Battle Royal with 60 players instead of 10. Amazing vid as always T_T
This video is so amazingly BANGER!!! Absolutely insane I love this sooooooooo much!!! You really are the GOAT!!! Seriously one of the best video I have ever seen!🔥🔥🔥
Great video as always. Would have liked some more comms and stuff from serenity and c9 showing thought process and whether they even considered the wattson team tho
I agree, thing is tho they don't. Idk if it was an audio thing at the end but Serenity just don't talk. Only thing C9 say is "play for the win" which I could've maybe added but they don't know the tournament is done until after they lose. I included pretty much every important comm, if it wasnt there probably didnt impact much.
What I always love in these videos is just how clear it is to see the difference between comp vs high ranked. The mindset, knowledge, and approach just drastically changes when a full stacked lobby is playing to their best outs and trying to win the entire tournament.
im still so shocked there hasn't been a "solidified strat" to counter teams on match point... like in this scenario, just doing a mating call to alert both C9 or SER and swing at Reject. Anyway, huge props to Reject.. they did so good during LAN and these video analysis always hype me up. Keep it up Jumba, you the GOAT fr.
Then the match point team can just do the same call to make them think that they're not in match point. The only way to know is to look at the team comp & skins, which they actually should be able to tell since Reject was the only wattson team iirc, but since they were under pressure, they probably overlooked it
@@eliabonfardeci2604 i guess from a viewer’s perspective, i sort of wanted another game cause they get so exciting, but at some point it would get difficult to even things out for sure

makes you realize how much more ahead pros are compared to casuals who play ranked

The atmosphere you created was amazing with all the comms. Great job.
