I had been modified my KTM for Enduro with steahly flywheel weight, throttle tamer from G2 Ergonomics & soon for a lectron carburetor. i appreciate your company make an e-start on the YZX. I didn't buy that dirt bike since it does not come with an E-start but your company did it. Thank you for your hard work.
I had to make a Motorcycle Paddock Starter Roller (rear wheel) so now I can pull out all my bikes and start them before I ride. Then it's one or two kicks for restart on the trail. This is what you should be selling. You can bump start a YZ250 but not a Honda CR500/YamahaYZ490 or KX500. It's portable and all my friends use it and it gets them out riding more because it's so easy. "You need to make and sell these" cuz it works for every bike!

Second, have also heard that you need to rivet the flywheel to the gear to prevent it from coming apart. Is this true. Lastly what is your shipping time from the moment it is ordered? There are people who have been waiting for 4-10 months for this.
A 1/16 NPT hole is already on the cover to install a vent hose. If the kit is selected without charging system, we indeed supply you with a new flange to rivet to your oem flywheel. We supply the rivets and tools to do so. Some people gladly pre-ordered the product 10 months in advance while it was still not available. Now that the product is fully available, it ships the same week you order.
in europe we have the WR.is an X with lights so the stator has 12 volts also.with this kit now can i take the 12 v to the lights strait from the battery?

Hi Jim, the stators produced by couple company and sold as supposed ''35w'' of lighting current, have been fully tested on our ignition bench, and will in reality only produce 9w-10w of lighting current. This comes from the fact that the magnets in the oem flywheel are too weak. 10x10w=100w

No problem at all ! We have planned and manufactured different flywheel starter flanges with the same inertia as every configuration on the market, GYTR flywheel, steahly 11oz weights, etc.
I have a bad hip. Hurts a lot to kick it. I can. But it hurts. I can ride all day. No problem. Not trying to get in an argument with you but there is a need.

You do not need a flywheel weight anymore with this set up has the flywheel supplied has a higher inertia to start with. We also have extra heavy starter flange to put on the flywheel if more inertia is needed.

There's no issue getting it in and out. You just have to accept that you're taking the battery and battery tray out everytime lol. it does suck.

Yes, our new stator and flywheel will give you a lot more power than the WR normally has.

It works on the 1999 but you have to change your crankshaft for a 2003+ to make it work

Yes, if you put a 2003+ crankshaft in your 2000, the starter will bolt right on !

Crankshaft is different before 2003, flywheel taper is much smaller
