@@Sparky_D just dont open throttle they wont suspect anything other than the little puffs of smoke coming out..
You need to sell both and still you are short for the price of this engine :D
I'd personally never use the electric start, just the kick. I'm old fashioned. What bikes will this motor mount right up on other then a CR500 roller?
is it possible to design a Starter Generator and save the weight of adding a starter?
A Starter Generator can also be used as an electric motor to give low end boost depending on how much battery weight we want to carry...
Nice!! This is real progress.
Not if there is no profit, but I guess that defines "progress" today. Seriously, where is the market for it? I doubt they will sell enough to pay for the development and the manufacturing. Very cool, (but a 600cc does not need a power valve. More cost added for nothing.), but this project probably has bankruptcy written all over it.
@@EarthSurferUSAwell hopefully if they go under some else can buy it out of bankruptcy and even go air cooled like the old Maico’s and put it in a new frame ? Lighter, and no radiator’s to harpoon ! 😜
I meant that it’s nice to see the technological progress
This engine is still not as advanced as the Rotax ETEC direct-injection 2-cycle engine that Skidoo has been using to power their snowmobiles for more than a decade. The ETEC is probably too heavy for a dirt bike but its way ahead of piston-injection two-stroke engines.
Awsome, new stuff costs thats how it is. Just hope i win the lottery 😁
Hope this is gonna be tested by magazines so you get the word out!
I'd like to see what kind of performance a big bore 2 stroke will give. I'm skeptical of a 600cc 2 stroke thumper. I would have preferred to see a 600cc 2 stroke twin.
In a shifter kart would be wild!
Whats the HP?
Is there a website? I guess I'll Google it seems like you would have left a link in the description if so.
When available!?
Wow.. And how does it sound?
Hi there what the price on this thanks great engineering
Are u guys planning on doing a KX 500 based version as well down the road? As i just bought my 91 back from a friend i sold it to after blowing up the piston/ cylinder after running low octane (87) fuel on a hot day in the sand when less than a year old( needless to say the knocking was diesel-like before the piston grenaded into literally pieces.)
i need to know whether this will fit my old trusty Husqvarna TE (of the year 2008)
Beautiful
