I had a car breakdown in Monida back in 1993. It was basically a ghost town, it had a collect call only phone booth. It was over 100 miles to the nearest garage
Worst feeling ever lol! My mom and I have been in a similar situation and man oh man, it felt good to get back to familiar territory.

Joas that is quite an adventure. A real task............wow! We were in GJ a few years ago and you got to go thru some good hills and Mt areas. Talk about Rockey Mt High in Colorado!
I see you took a more southern route than what we take back to Washington. Beautiful country. Each place has a beauty of its own be it mountains or deserts.

You came right thru my old stomping grounds......Salt Lake City to the Montana border.....Idaho Falls , Rexburg etc. my son lives way over in Billings now. I’ve never been to Libby. What a trip for you!

I will work your new store into my Montana travels! Being a grandmother of many grandchildren I am particularly interested and quite concerned about the “life skills” that they each need to learn. Thank you for teaching your children these skills and please keep reinforcing them with your viewers. I have always valued a secular education in many cases but I fear we are loosing plain old common sense in the basics of day to day living! I watch mom and dads overload their own plates or hire tasks that should or could be done by their own children! Huge consequences for these actions.

How did you find the RYDER truck rental? Was it well maintained? My web research from UA-cam users warn against U-Haul & Budget rentals, especially for cross country hauls. The last thing any self mover needs is to get stuck on a road with all your valuables. Most UA-camrs post videos of the road or issues with truck rental agencies. Your the first person who comment on the slow mountainous speeds. That is a valuable piece of information for 1st time self movers. I would like to see video’s that talk about cross country truck stop that offer valuable information about showers, safe places to stop to rest. I myself have experienced a strong Santa Ana Winds on the California/ Arizona border. Weather factors are another piece of planning cross country drives.
I think we just googled and found the truck. It was a nice truck it was just totally Gutless!
