    I dont have an electrical wisp, so i made my own using a drill and 24guage steel wire for making coils for ecig. I combined the ends, and twisted the wire using the drill. Then repeated this step, before i finally made the twisted wire into 2 oblong "loops", twisted it together at one end so i could stick it in the drill. Works really good for making small batches for just 1 medium sized cup at a time..!
    BTW... I tried using cold milk, and it frothed up easily, but the bubbles burst pretty quickly... Warm milk is better...

      That is so innovative! Yeah, warm milk definitely holds the froth longer.

    If you keep the foam moving it will stay uniform and not separate into liquid milk and thick foam on top. And baristas also tap to pop the big bubbles.

    We just got a ‘Moka Pot’ so I’ve been studying up on making great coffee.

    Have you ever tried that?

      I would say the French press is best for latte art. I really like that one because it's a dual purpose tool. But the hand pump frother is second in my opinion. It does pump easier than the French press.

      I have frothed oat milk using some of these methods, but I haven’t tried soy or almond. I can’t remember if I tried a low-fat oat milk, or if it was only ones that had added oil. Here’s my oat milk latte video where I demonstrate frothing oat milk both with a machine and using a couple of these methods: ua-cam.com/video/CIE8JOEbZdc/v-deo.html

    • @ButteredSideUp

    • @ButteredSideUp
      @ButteredSideUp  2 роки тому

      It really depends on your immersion blender. If the low setting is really low, you may need to try the next higher setting. Just be careful not to spray hot milk on yourself! But if low is still fairly high, that might be sufficient to use the entire time.
