    Saw a couple of nit-picky comments, but you did a great job of showing exactly what you were doing clearly.
    Some tutorials “show you how”, but move all over the place or don’t really let you see into the milk pitcher.
    So again, well done. Thanks.

    1. First thing first your frother has a bent wand and not doing the work properly, good thing is you can straighten it,
    2. 60 seconds is too much, once you figure out the position after big bubbles disappear you keep same position 20 more seconds and done
    3. you let the milk sit while doing the coffee, the coffee should be done first then pour the milk because the froth and the milk are going to separate ( not like steam milk which is more silky )
    4. the most important thing, your milk was more milk than air hence the weak froth, you add air about 4-5 seconds.

    Nice video, I made the perfect latte according to the method in the video, awesome, I bought another milk frother, stainless steel and with a stand, double stirring head, it is more convenient and fast to use.

      Start with cappuccino/flat white, espresso, macchiato, cortado, and black, that's enough for starters I think, I should make a video about that :)

    Hello! I tried this and my milk got too thick but i don't know how to fix it :( my froth just became a lump of froth.. any help will be very appreciated! :D

    • @espressodoctor
      @espressodoctor  Рік тому +2

      I think you might have a stronger frother, I did the same thing with two different frothers and the bigger and stronger one did the same as you described. Just try frothing for shorter amount of time each next froth for 5 -8 seconds less and see how long does your frother take to achieve the perfect macrofoam

      @TrapRAM 11 місяців тому +3

      You added too much air, while frothing you keep frother at surface only for 4-5 seconds max, then froth at an angle at the bottom of the pitcher, if a big vortex is forming and you can see the tip of the frother, switch position to only spin the milk but don't create vortex (go to the margins of the pitcher, the tip should not be visible or you will add more air) and keep position to just spin the milk for about 20 sec.

    Hi, thanks for the video. Do you recommend using whole fat milk or does any fat percentage work, including skimmed milk?

    • @espressodoctor
      @espressodoctor  Рік тому +1

      Hi, I'd say 2+% milk wokrs best. The fat in whole milk contributes to the stability and texture of the foam by providing structure, the less fat the milk has the more water-y the milk is hence much harder to create microfoam, that's why it's also harder to do it with non-dairy products too

      Put the milk for 1 minute in the microwave (Not longer, you don't want the milk to get hotter)

      That's as good as it gets with a 2dollar milk frother, u can try to froth it longer or shorter to get a better microfoam but it's never going to be as good as with a steamer
