I say that there is plenty of other people running this world with there bad policies and such so have at it ...I doubt you can do anything worse to this world with your little roll off plastic .
It was more like 20 meters in an environment where any unnatural noice sticks out. I mean you heard it on the video right?. But whatever man you wanna get your nose brown then dont let me stop you, dive right in son.
Spend the Night!!!! Good ole brother camp video...so some hunting, building, bonding lol. Ya think you guys should....both of you make for a good video!
My 2 cents is that I feel this is totally in line with you and your channel IMHO. Using modern implements for survival. As far as second use I really looks like a greenhouse to me which would totally fit into the off grid living and sustainable living through a garden. Keep up the great work!
Dude that is so cool, very good use of plastic wrap!! You could put moss and leafs and stuff on it to cover it better. Would definitely be cool to see if it will work for a green house in spring
Glad to hear you got your trapping licence! I find the government can take their time on things! ;) I'm hoping to see more trapping videos in the future! Take care Chris!
Hey Beardsman! Could you do a video about how to avoid injuries and what to do if you do get a typical injury out in the woods? Maybe show us one of your scars and tell us how you got it also? :O
Man I was happy to see a new video. I've been watching all the old challenges from the past. Awesome stuff. Ur shelter could also double as a greenhouse.
Its always interesting how people explain "survival". IMO Survival isnt about rubbing two sticks together to get a fire or using leaves for a bed. Its about using what is around you to live as best you can. Yes plastic is bad for nature and the planet but in life or death(also known as survival) you cant worry about that. What you can do is after you live worry about it and clean your mess (much like woodbeard will do once it is no longer usable).
Haha watching Kevin recording for his channel was too cute! It’s so amazing how you both filmed this, and they were both individually unique - great job!! This idea of this Saran Wrap cabin is genius!
What a great idea for a temporary ice fishing shack built to what ever size you want could use colored pallet wrap could fill walls with packing peanuts for additional insulation and some visibility blocking. I like this.
@@TheWoodedBeardsman The idea to add stones for thermal mass sounded like a great idea especially if theres some dark/black rocks local, or some kind of thick slate might work if its strong enough dunno tho

Jadyn and I had a blast watching (he told the hubby he wants to catch n cook a squirrel for him as a bday gift, lol) I can't wait to see how the tent holds up and if any critters mess with it. It would be fun to do a Thrival (thriving & survival) challenge and get Kev to come along, but let him pick 5-10 items to take with or give him a size limit or other spec to see how creative he gets

You've got me buying weird stuff periodically from Walmart to put in my car. Went to buy a chicken, left with a chicken, a multi tool, some wind proof matches and water purification tablets. I don't quite know what I am preparing for but I'll be ready when it comes.
Other than the obvious durability issue that is really awesome. You could go full tryhard and even easily install small layers of insulation beforehand if you actually wanted to use something like this. Reapirs? No problem! Just have more plastic wrap on hand lol Awesome video.
The beauty of wrapping plastic wrap around timber framing as you've done, is that it double insulates the hut, thereby creating a series of trapped still air pockets, like double glazing does in a window. I would look at ways to make the door and the rest of the hut, as airtight as possible, apart from a smallish air intake under the wall next to the wood stove, to allow the hut to really warm up ! - C02 and C0 shouldn't be a problem if the flue is working OK, unless you're using a propane or white-spirit stove or lantern in the hut, and besides, you've got the C0 detector on hand just in case. .
