I really like Coin Guy, seems like an old-school type of businessman: Honest, knowledgable and sincere. He's got such a wholesome and personable vibe that you just don't see much in stores anymore. Wish I lived near there so I could visit him :)
He's a cool guy. Maybe one day you'll come on by ;)
I truely wish I had a coinguy close to me👏🏻
Use mine? ;)
I think I will👍🏻
I have enjoyed all the videos with coin guy he his very knowledgeable and comes across as a great guy
He knows his stuff and has an incredible coin shop 👍
I'd do business with coin guy; knowledgeable, sincere, nice guy, seems honest. Great vid.
Great! Long time customer?
8pm here in 🇵🇭 when this thing start,..let's do this Mr. Coin guy... 💯
Hes a man you can trust, just like my friend here where I'm at.
The coin guy is so cool. Love that peace maker he's got. Lol
Thanks Speg....that was a great part 2 n interview. Great questions.
Thank you for the feedback, the comment, and thanks so much for watching.
Ohhh my my ....Pr 2 is really awesome. Thank you for such a lovely video . And Thank you very much Coin Guy for showing your awesome collection .
I’m happy you found it enjoyable :)
Awesome continued interview with Coin Guy. I couldn't get my LCS owner to do an interview. lol I've tried.
Many are not ok with it and many many more I'm not ok with doing. I've had some approach me while I've approached others and I feel like I am getting the viewers the best I have to offer.
Thanks Sal.
Glad to see you back in this shop. The owner seems like such a cool guy.
This is only footage that I didn’t show in the first video. I’d be willing to do another new visit if you thought it would be helpful?
@@Spegtacular That would be cool. He seems awfully knowledgeable. Maybe he could talk about some of the history of the items in his shop. Just a thought.
There was some of that done in part one.
Great interview. Love listening to people who know what they are talking about. Thank you for doing this video. I enjoyed it very much.☺️👩🏼🏵
I'm very happy that you enjoyed it :) Thank you for watching.
Thank you both.
Outstanding shop!!! Another great video, thanks!!!
You’re very welcome!
I could listen to this Coin Guy talk all day, his knowledge is mesmerizing. Lucky to have a shop like that nearby.
Thanks Lenny! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Yay Coin Guy. Very knowledgeable. Thanks Spegtacular!
You’re very welcome!
First interview with this guy was great. Look forward to it.
Thanks SH
Great tour, love the variety. Thanks
Thanks for coming by! Great name by the way.
Again, awesome video! And this dealer seems like a really cool dude!
The advice and info is priceless! Thanks Speg!
That’s what I was hoping you’d say Jason :) thrilled you enjoyed.
Another Classic video.. Great work my friend..
Thanks BP! I appreciate the feedback.
Thank you soo much for another one!!
You're welcome!
Great interview! You can go back to that well a lot of times! Love that Panama Balboa @15:00!
He loves for his well to be tapped and this allows it to flow to thousands of others all at once.
Awesome video, it is great you have a coin shop you can go to and shop and know you are getting a great deal. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking it out Armando! No good shops close to you?
Love the videos and this type of content/interview! Thank you!
I'm excited that you've enjoyed it. Thank you for the feedback and thank you for watching.
Love the Coin Guy!
Great video, beautiful collection of coins
Thank you!
Wow, a ton of variety there. BRB, gotta buy $300k in dimes...
I wonder what that would look like.
Corner the damn market in dimes
Thanks for showing more. I certainly find these gentlemen with his wealth of knowledge is always worth a good listen! Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome. You think there should be more?
Well I certainly do appreciate hearing what I think is too often not caught on video. That is the knowledge of these older gentlemen which is knowledge we would have to read a ton of books and hours to learn, so when a gentleman such as you videoed speaking about his business, his products, and more is hard to find knowledge so I love hearing about it, as I watched both parts 1 & 2! Maybe next time if you get a chance you can bring up the topic of what are good investments and what has potential to rise in price, if any, not taking into co side ration the silver and gold markets, but the coins themselves! Thanks I enjoy your work!
As always, love the trips to LCS’s. Thanks Speg.
You’re welcome! See you on the next one!
Another great interview! I wish I had a Coin Guy in my town!! 😃
Be one! Your town may need someone like you :)
Coin Guy is great. His advice is spot on. 👍🏻
Montez! I agree. Words of wisdom that are well aged.
Thank you very much for all of your educational content I thoroughly enjoy your videos and watch yours and other stackers videos daily. I have learned a lot and look forward to many more videos
I’m happy you find it helpful Rob. It means a lot to me.
Really, really excellent stuff, Speg, thanks for the great videos!
You’re very welcome. I’m glad you came along.
Guy reminds me of my late step Dad , and I just want to say to him , my step Dad was Chef , If only we had known the benefits of apple cider vinegar lemons cinnamon and honey every morning he might still be with us today . They also have coconut vinegar now for those of us who can’t handle the ACV ...God Bless him and his heart.
Thank you for that Julie. Your step dad seemed like a great person.
love it and thank you
You’re welcome.
Another great informative video. Thanks guys
You’re welcome!
very awesome conclusion video ty for interviewing him it was awesome!!!
You’re very welcome!
Now is a shop
Thanks for the Part II, sir. I would be like a kid in a candy store here. Next time I'm in FL, I'm definitely going to look this place up. I could wander around a store like this all day! Keep these tours going, okay? There's lots of them out there.
There’s very few tours actually. I believe I was the first to do a video like this :)
As far as shops, I’ll only bring you the best.
Great selection at the shop and a good guy.
I agree!
I really like that "guy". Love his perspective on things. You got a good lcs. I'm blessed with one as well. Love the shots at the end. Great video my friend. Thank you.
Thanks SS. I appreciate you.
Great video. I didn't know that about bullion. Love coin guy. Your lucky to have him in your area.
There’s a few facts I didn’t know after doing this interview. I’m glad I did it for myself and I’m thrilled I got the camera with me for you all :)
Very cool video...thanks Speg!
Hey TB glad to see you stop by.
I like this series of "Coin Guy" good content!
Thanks for this. Love that guy! Wish he was closer.
Everybody visits FL! ;)
May have to. Be a great excuse! Lol
Great video, great shop. That music at 11:30 had me looking for Laurel and Hardy lol!

Would love to visit his shop! 💗😀
Come on by!
I've been to the camio factory in Naples Italy. It was fantastic to see them carved. I have 6 that I gave to aunts they're deceased so I got them back after they passed.
That's interesting! My wife thought I was crazy when I didn't know what one was. I suppose there's a lot that I don't know after all ;)

Awesome coin shop! Still need one like that in area of California!
Or come down and see him here in FL ;)
@@Spegtacular That has crossed my mind but never been to Florida, maybe my next vacation I should go East.
Even Roy Driskill is saying the same thing.
The old jewelry was pretty and cool.
Guy is awesome, with a great shop.
Glad you enjoyed!
I'm so happy there's a part 2. Seriously awesome.
I’m happy you’re happy! See you at the premiere Saturday morning?
SpegTacular I’ll be tuning in from Australia but I hope to make it :) got the alert set. I hope you keep making these interview videos. Cheers!
As far as I know, I’m the first to do it. My original interview was earlier this year but I had to edit a lot of it due to a conflict the shop owner and I had after I brought him a lot of business and attention. I do plan to keep doing these :) it’s enjoyable to me.
SpegTacular that’s great to hear! Those guys have so much knowledge, I could listen to em’ for hours.
@@Spegtacular What would the conflict be? Did he want some money for
being popular online!
You interviewed two coin dealers: my guess would be MK Barz!?
I can't be believe it is Coin Guy
Older people like Coin Guy could see long term more!
The reason I want to know is who I would want to deal with if I ever
get into this hobby of coin collecting in a big way!
I can't wait for this one! I got my reminder on!
He has some beautys in there. Saw the NRA medallion...might have to give him a call. Thanks Speg for the work on this lcs!
I wonder if you’ll snag that one.
Dimes! Good Guy!
the coin guy to me seems to have a NYC accent. Or at least NE US.
You're right on the money
Hey there Speg! Thanks for the nice video. The coin shop owner resembles Carroll O'conner.
Just a little :-)) I wish there was a store like that near me. Regards from Ody Slim
Hey there Ody! Thanks for the comment and checking out the video.
Glad I finally got a chance to watch this. Curious does he have a cull bin? I will be building my stash back up but starting with the cheapest way to do it. Be blessed brother
I believe there is a cull bin. Thanks John.
SpegTacular awesomeness. Got my package love it all. But the slq pendant rocks. I have the perfect spot for the sticker on my bike
Awesome John! Only two people on the planet have one! I don’t even have one :,(
honesty, integrity, ethics impress us all. come to the east coast of florida and find some like the coinguy, or he can open another shop. lol
You’re not taking my coin guy Bruce! Lol
@@Spegtacular then it is up to you to find all or any honest silver & gold shops on the central florida coast around melbourne that have the same honesty, integrity, eithics that ''coin guy'' has. is that too much to ask? of course it is. now get to it.
It's up to you Bruce!
I've covered a nearly 80 mile radius finding all of the local coin shops, pawn shops, antique shops, etc near my home. Now it's your turn to get out and discover.
@@Spegtacular i have in my area. no one i trust so far. not that many to start with. lots of pawn shops. you want me to start my own you tube channel and steal all your viewers and retire filthy stinking rich? your 80 mile radius is too small. think big. big and bigger. you havent even done the deep dive off the coast. lots of ship wrecks with dabloons

Very interesting video Speg. Next time I am in Weeki Wachi. I am going to make a quick jump over to Spring Hill, and pay Coin Guy a visit. Perhaps even make a few purchases. Altho I will not be spending $300,000.00 dollars on silver..... HAHAHAHA. Looking forward to your next post from Coin Guys shop.
Cool! One day I bet you and I are going to meet up!
@@Spegtacular I will make a point to send you an e-mail when I am up there.
Cool storie 👍👍👍👍👍
I totally agree :)
👏🏽
Oh yeah, cool.
Great video! Of topic, but I was wondering what size/style that libertad in your opening is. It's gorgeous.
That was a 5 ounce antiqued finish.
Thank you!
@@Spegtacular I've got to find me one of those.
Check Apmex. I got mine there at the time.
I would start buying dimes, quarters and halves first
I see you filmed that video when silver was near it's recent high. He was only paying 11 times face value when silver was worth 14 times. That indicates that dealers don't trust the price of silver staying at that level. I remember when silver hit $50/oz in 1980. I didn't have any money back then but I heard that there were long lines outside coin stores to sell silver. There were ads in the newspaper filled with companies wanting to buy silver.
At that day’s silver price, junk would have been worth just under $14 for one dollar face value. He was offering $11 ($12 if I had a lot) so he would make $2-$3 per one dollar face off of me. That sounds pretty reasonable for a shop owner. They can’t guess what silver will or won’t do and it’s part of why they need that price cushion so they don’t go in over their heads.
@@Spegtacular The Coin Guy probably doesn't have customers rushing in the store to buy gold and silver at today's prices like from 2008-2013. My LCS pays 12.7 times face value with spot at $18.60 for a $1000 bag of 90% silver so I'd probably get that on a smaller amount. Also MD requires coin dealers to file a police report on sales of silver and gold bars/rounds just like FL.
So if they buy it for $12.70 what do they sell it for?
@@Spegtacular They sell 90% silver for 13.56 times face value in $1000 bags. I think the premium goes down when silver prices go up and vice versa. They are one of the few dealers that post actual buy prices for bullion.
$1000 bags are like 700+ ounces of silver though. Most people don’t buy in that kind of bulk quantities.
My coin guy is really good. Not personable AT ALL, but he's fair. I usually deal with his manager, who's a lot nicer to deal with.
I remember when silver was higher, selling my silver dollars for spot minus 30% because it's not a full ounce. Now you pay a premium over spot for silver dollars. 😒
For sure. Things have changed a little haven’t they? ;)
Silver dimes are getting hard to find in my area. Markups on the internet are ridiculous. I’ve har good luck finding pre 64 quarters and half dollars.
That’s strange. By me the shops are still loaded.
SpegTacular eh not really. I live in a very rural place. The only place that sells silver here is a single pawn/gun shop. They call me when someone brings in a bunch of junk silver. But it’s rare. I’ll go to different banks and buy a crap ton of rolls. Go threw them re-roll them and exchange them for more. I’ll find quarters pretty regularly but not dimes. Half dollar rolls are where I get the majority of my silver. Sometimes I can score on a eBay auction. But I’m not paying double the scrap price for a fixed price listing on a common circulated coin. Putting out ISO’s on Facebook marketplace and Craig’s list pays off pretty good. But I’m sure some of the people who reply steal the stuff for drugs. I don’t want the police confiscating stolen property and have to take the person to small claims court to get my money back. And even then they probably won’t pay. Next time I’m down that way I’m definitely going to visit Coin Man and get a good bit of silver dimes. Maybe he’ll trade out silver half dollars for them.
Why can't we start now I can't wait any longer😭
lol I mean all I really need to do is press a button... say the word Mark! I’ll let you make the call since you’re a friend of the show.
@@Spegtacular 😂😂😂see you in the morning man just messing with ya.

Done!
Ladies and gents, this is what real money looks like. Get some while you still can.
right on
What they don't tell you in coin shops is that the premium you pay for numismatic silver coins is only on the buy side. When you go to sell them, you'll only receive the spot silver price for them (minus the coin store's spread). So, if you are buying coins as a silver investment, stick with junk silver or bullion only. I know this from experience. Also if you buy bullion, bring a silver tester with you to make sure they are .999. There are tons of fake rounds out there.
He has a silver tester that he utilizes. Most silver rounds can easily be identified as fake simply by look but a few are better than others. There’s far more real than fake but those few fakes can certainly be annoying if they make their way into your stack.
@@Spegtacular Yeah, I saw that on the other video. Not all dealers are honest though, so if you buy from a flea market or pawn shop, bring your own tester.
Good luck with that :) I want to see the video where the pawn shop or flea market guy lets you test his bullion.
@@Spegtacular If he won't let you test it, then he's probably trying to sell you fakes. I'm not suggesting drilling holes in his silver, but using one of those meters, like the coin shop guy had.
While I do believe that big time collectors should have these testers, a small time guy should rely on the shop they're going to to have a tester like this. A cheap one costs around $700-$800 (the model you seen the shop keeper have).
Cryptocurrencies are fiat so they are worthless but as long as people are betting then you can profit. Gold and silver are used in manufacturing to produce goods so they have intrinsic value. Gold and silver are rare and finite so they will keep value and increase.
Digital currency... vs paper currency... vs metal currency...
I heve a question for you stackers!
Is it ok? to buy my silver for 30$ an oz (because of all the shiping and the VAT) if I'm going to hold on to the silver for 30 years and then... sell it?
I would definitely recommend that
Dang do they tax you again when you sell it? Still, if you can trade pieces of paper for something of value, do the numbers on the paper really matter?
Where are you living / what is the currency?
King of Fun When you paying $30 ozt that's usually more collectible silver coins. It also depends on where you live shipping prices play a big factor. But for VAT if someone ships to you as a gift it usually means it's not taxable. So if you find a dealer that ships to you that way you can save money.
How do I find his ebay page?
Try googling the wisecoinguy2012
Can introduce the kind of coin chemicals in the coin shop?
What do you mean exactly?

Coin shops very different here in the united kingdom. Funny seeing the owner walking a around with a gun around his waste. The only thing allowed over here is to call the police, and hope they turn up quick, and a electronic security lock on the door.
We’ve all got guns and a second amendment right over here! Come on over ;)
To own a gun here in the united kingdom, you have to apply for a gun license. The license form is given to police. You are checked for any criminal convictions, including any driving convictions. You wait weeks. If you have any of these you fail straight a way. If you pass, then an appointment is made with you and the police, and a special security officer comes to your house, to check what type of security you have. The security in your house, has to be very very good and very strong, and the officer tells you what security, or more security they require. Another appointment is then made with the police, and the same officer comes and checks to see that you have done what they require. If not, he tells you this has not been, and tells you to get it done. If you pass, then another final check is made on any criminal convictions you may have, since you applied. You then wait another month or so, then you get your license. You have to re-apply every year, and police make regular checks at your house, to make sure you still have the gun, and check your security again. Anything wrong, your license is revoked, and gun taken. If gun is not at your house, they arrest you and they want to know where it is. Going to a shooting range, your car has to have a small safe in the boot, where only you can get it. And if you think this bad in America, you are only allowed a 22 gun. Sorry I know nothing about guns, is 22 correct but is the lowest allowed. Very difficult here. Some coin dealers keep a hammer hidden under the counter, in case they get in trouble from any nasty people, but if they use it, it all ends up in court, to explain why they used it against any robber, and the court decides if the shop keeper used reasonable force against the robber. If not, the poor shop keeper gets done, and depending on the injury to the robber, the shop keeper ends up in prison, and may have to pay compensation, as well All wrong .
Thanks to the both of you ..I have one question ,why if for example I buy a coin ,any coin from America on E bay .That may cost $6. and the postage is like $55. or even more .It's strange.Cheers from Tassie Australia.
It's probably people who don't know how international shipping works. Shipping for something as light as a single coin should be around $9-$14 for international shipping.
There are a few factors that play into shipping. One is how they have it shipping to you. Most should use 1st class international which like spegtacular said $9-$14. Also you might need to look into import fees. Those are the two main factors into shipping international.
@@coinguy8107Thank you for the reply ,Regards ,Bradley.

Silver lost a lot of it's luster when the film industry was replaced by digital photos. Kodak was the biggest consumer of silver, back in the day. I thought that solar panels might pick up the slack, but they haven't. Also, all commodities have been in a bear market since 2011 and commodity bear markets can last for over 20 years. So, silver may not break $50 in our lifetimes. In fact, I expect it to drop to $7.50-8.00 an ounce in the next 5-15 years.
In 15 years I’ll revisit this comment and see if you were right.
Silver may have lost out on photos, but it’s gained in so many areas. Solar panels are not really huge at the moment but cars, laptops, phones, computers, some clothing, etc are using this more than ever.
@@Spegtacular Clothing has silver in it? I agree with laptops, phones and computers having small amounts of silver, but clothing?
Lmfao.... I cant wait to revisit this comment too speg.
Yes, because of anti-microbial properties in silver, it’s been utilized in some clothing to stop odor. Pretty interesting. Many other uses too brother.
@@Spegtacular Then why didn't it break $50 in 2011? Gold broke it's old 1980 high, but silver didn't.
