Thank you Spegtacular for coming by and talking with me. I always enjoy your visits.
You are welcome Mr. Guy.
Thank YOU for sharing your knowledge. Your information will help thousands of new and old collectors for years to come.
Thank you for your first video and this one - very neat to me - I am a very novice begginer - this is fun stuff thanks :)
We were waiting for this interview. Mahalo Guy and Speg.
This was a great video.
Wish I could like it more than once.😁
Coin Guy hello good afternoon
If you ever get old Bolivian coins from 1827-1895
Please let me know if ever get any
Thanks
What a great visit! Parents live in Weeki Wachee. Just a small jump up from Southern Florida. I will make sure I hop over to Spring Hill on my next visit up that way. Your info is fantastic, and I love the open carry. P.S. I am in love with that Cob..
Guy is a great reminder of the days of my youth when the coin dealer held classes in his shop on weekends that were fun.
Great series brother
Thank you John! I try to give you stuff that’s fun.
I love that the man is carrying a gun the whole time. God bless America.
I would too if I ran a coin and precious metals shop :P
God isn't real. Voters bless America.
@Founders of Stadia
God bless America
Florida, I believe.
A lot of times when I go into a coin shop, the dealers there always put themselves on a pedestal because they know more than the average consumer. I really like that Coin Guy is humble and generous with the information he gives in a way where you feel like hes teaching you and passing down knowledge that has taken much time to learn. I really enjoyed watching this video as I am a coin collector and metal detectorist. Thank you for this awesome video, I hope to see more in the near future.
I love the people that won’t give a recipe for food like they think your going to pattern it and mass produce it
Wow you been talking to the Coin Guy for 4 years now on UA-cam! I'm just discovering it! Must watch all! I must like every video! I must share every video! I must!!!!? I need aaaa silver and gold!!!!😂
Could have been 2 hours long and I would have sat right here listening and learning. Loved the love tokens! Didn't realize that was even a thing. Thank you Coin Guy and Speg!
I’m glad you sat through it! I found it interesting enough to get just about the whole interaction in a single video. I’m glad I did! Share with your like-minded friends/family!
@@Spegtacular That video should learn us all lobe and a token to I is everything but that almighty money.THANK YOU my dear for learning us the value of the token. YOU seriously blew my mind. YOU my FRIEND have a heart of gold!❤maybe chocolate? Your simply adorable. It would be AWESOME if we all looked at money as your token SHARING knowledge of a video. ❤
He got my heart.I was shockingly surprised to see a wonderful human being take MONEY out of the picture and I HOPE many people see this. YOU come here with nothing..and leave with NOTHING. Specular is a realist❤
This coin shop owner is really really a nice guy and very helpful.
Absolutely love that he has such knowledge and experience with all kinds of coins. Thanks for sharing him with us.
Absolutely Barbara. I’m glad he could share.
I love how the owner is carrying a gun.
@@ffnightranger Welcome to the Free State of Florida!
Is there anything this Guy doesn't know something about? Wonderful interview. You're so lucky to have him close by. Thank you so much for sharing this with your community!
I could listen to Coin Guy all day, and I think he could talk all day. Fascinating interview, I’m waiting for part 3!
You’re killing me Stephen... let me recover from this one! I almost lost all of this footage multiple times... the audio broke for the weirdest reason... took me hours just to edit and then hours more to edit it again... hours spent at his shop between customers... you’re killing me Smalls!
I'm fascinated by this Guy guy. I could listen to him talk about coins all day, and I've never collected a coin lol
What an amazing knowledgeable gentleman. Thank you for visiting and sharing!
Except he does make mistakes from time to time (we all do). For example, Gold is NOT a better conductor of electricity than silver. Conductivity: silver > copper > gold. Gold is used as a conductor because it is so resistant to corrosion.
Love this guy. So much knowledge. Can't wait for episode 3!
Coming soon!
Love Love the Coin Guy!!
He is a National Treasure! I very much like a coin shop with a variety of interesting pieces( foregn, watches and everything else)
Thank you, Cory
What a generous guy, ... a real Gentleman.
I agree!
I had a friend of mine tell me that, " when you want to buy US coins you buy them in Canada, and if you want to buy Canadian coins you buy them in the US. The reason is they're cheaper on the other Shore than on your Shore."
I've got no real interest in coin collecting but found myself watching both videos with interest, well done to you both
Thanks Speg and Mr. Coin Guy another great video. I always watch your video's but when your with Mr. Guy its even BETTER!!!!😍💕🐾🐈❤
Wow, I'd never heard about love tokens before. That is so neat! I'm glad you were able to get the video fixed and up.
Me too! It was almost a failure.. but that’s in the past ;)
Thank you gentlemen. This is enjoyable. I almost feel like I'm there with you. I can't imagine why there are a few thumbs down. Some people are just unhappy about everything I guess.
Well I can’t say the reason.. but usually one single thing that someone disagrees with tends to cause a down thumb... or people who are upset that this type of video was done out of jealousy... or maybe they hit it by mistake ;)
I’m glad YOU enjoyed it though Mike!
Keep doing stuff like this. Since im new at all of this, videos like this are what im learning from!! Sooooooooo much to take in!!
I am very impress. I've learn so much and find that coin collecting is notnjust a hobby but very educational as well. It is so refreshing to learn and share the knowledge with people. Especailly with your kids. A topic that most don't usually bring up in discussion. Thanks for the great job and please continue your work. Especailly for new comers in coin collecting as well as antique.
The coin guy was definitely enjoying himself.😊👍
Yes he was. He likes telling you guys about what he has learned.
I have spent the last three days trying to watch all Coin Guy UA-cam videos.
Thanks
Spectacular
Agree with the other comments this is a great interview, coin guy...very interesting, smart man.
That hit my heart. Brilliantly and well done. My most favorite flower that was picked for me is what what people call a weed. The BEAUTIFUL specimen was a brilliant dandelion with a poem. That was truly a SUNSHINE MOMENT.❤
I’m glad you enjoyed it :)
Awesome interview.. thanks for sharing buddy.. its always a pleasure to receive coin history knowledge from Coin GUY!🖒🖒.. thanks to there generation for keeping and passing this hobby on to the next!!.. ✌😎❤
I’m happy you enjoyed it.
Love you man and the gun ! The knowledge is priceless ! Thank you from an Australian long time stacker !
I greatly appreciate his honesty and knowledge, thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome Steven.
Truly fascinating. This guy is incredibly knowledgeable and I learned a lot. Thanks Spegtacular for all the hard work put into making this great video.
I appreciate the kind word JB.
i started coin collecting about a yr ago here in tampa. mostly just buillion. but i love it and learned a lot from these videos and will be visiting the coin guy soon. thx guys for all the great info
Really cool that the measurement multiples as well as the terminology turned out the same for cpu technology: 8/16/128 and "bit".
This is great! Looking forward to interview #3.
Love these interviews. I've been stacking/hoarding/collecting for a while but a lot of what he talks about fills in a lot of holes in history and areas I've never had to look into. He's a couple of hours from me here in Fla. but after seeing these and liking his personality I may take a drive up one day!
I'm from the UK and didn't know about the bent silver coins, The good news for me is i have around twenty of them....They just got promoted to my main coin collection
Awesome
Man, i'm sorry i missed that one on the bent silver coins.
Another fun watch. What an amazing man Guy is. I watched the first interview too.
Well thank you for watching both!
Wow that was another great interview session. Mr. Guy is a wealth of stories and information. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks É R I K! Glad you could be there with me thanks to the power of UA-cam!
Mr Guy is the BEST a real Americana !!! God bless him richly . 👍 He is a historian and genuine a chip off the old block as my father used to say and its his time to shine. Thanks SpegTacular.

Spegtacular and coin guy got me into collecting!!! You both are great!
Another fabulous video,thnx..love this coin guy,. Honesty is why he is in business so long..thee old gatherer Rick
Coin Guy is a good cat. He is a very knowledgeable gentleman who is fun to listen to. I wish his shop was near my house.
From one Guy to another.
Awesome information.
I wish I lived closer to visit Coin Guy’s shop.
Thanks Speg for the video. 👍🏻
You’re welcome! Since your name is Guy, you must be pretty cool too ;)
love this guy....could listen to him all day
Great video, great info, great guys and I loved it! Thanks for sharing!
What a wealth of knowledge. A thumbs up from me is your reward.
I’ll take it!
Thank you coin guy for all your knowledge and thank you spegtacular for sharing his knowledge
You’re welcome. It all worked out well.
I could talk to this man for hours and roam around what coin lovers would call our candy store. Thank you for presenting this to the coin community. Really like your channel.4
I’m happy that you enjoy it ;) it’s fun for me too.
Guy's shop is great. Wish my local shop had this much variety. I thoroughly enjoy his enthusiasm for the topic. I could listen to him tell the stories all day. As a computer guy, the 128 bits comment at 15:15 intrigued me.
Hmm.. I hadn’t thought of that... you think that’s a coincidence that 128 bits is that number in particular and “bits” are what it’s called?
enjoyed it thoroughly. thanks for posting this!
Awesome video!
Thks heads up on the Nov. Coin show!
I have learned a lot from both of you!
Hope I can find a coin guy in my city!
There’s only one Guy ;) often imitated and never duplicated! lol
Let’s clone him!
I could listen to him all day. We both lived in the same area on Long Island and frequented Rubinstein’s before it closed down. I’ll have to visit with him next time I’m in Florida.
We enjoy listening to these very much!! Keep'em coming...Thanks!!
Coin Guy is fascinating. I would love to listen to him talk more about coins and history. You are my new hero Coin Guy!
Well, I’ve got about 6 videos with him in it so get to listening ;)
I placed an order with his ebay site after your last interview. Speedy service and a beautiful coin at a fair price. I'm thrilled with my purchase.
Awesome! I'm happy to hear you found something you liked and that you're supporting these small business owners. Thank you for doing that :)
I hope you can take us to visit Guy on a regular basis... like once a month. I love hanging out with you guys while I work at my computer. Cheers from Southern Indiana. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the support Kevin!
I'm a Mechanic and NEVER new that Car Batteries had Silver in them,no wonder they charge such a Core charge for them.
14:00 oh damn....the pirate restaurant in Savannah! I lived in Savannah in the late 90's. I'll never forget going to that restaurant with my parents lol it's called Pirate House. Really cool place. I heard him say restaurant and Savannah and was hoping he'd say the pirate restaurant!
Love this guy!! Next trip to Spring Hill to visit the family, I will be visiting him.
He’ll be happy to see you I’m sure.
A very enjoyable and informative video. Thank you.
I could listen to The Coin Guy stories everyday!
Really enjoyed Guy and the knowledge he shared with us. Sad to say but today it is hard to find people like Guy who will take the time to share his knowledge and experience. He would have made a great teacher. Thank You
We need more shop owners that will talk to people rather than sit in their shops like bumps on a log hoping you hand them money.
Got hooked on your channel with the 1st ep. of interviewing the coin guy. Keep it up love the channel.
Thanks for checking it out Billy! I’ll keep it up as long as I’m able.
Love the history held within the coins and the knowledge from Mr. Guy great video. Long Beach CA.

First greetings from London uk, and Wow your man Guy from coin guy really knows his stuff, i can easily listen to him all day long. Really enjoyed video, big Thanks..

How much more of the porch needs painting? :)

Tell him to make time for you ;)
great vid, he is a great wealth of knowledge, and he is really likeable, awesome interview
Thank you Matthew! Share the video with friends. Let’s show the world our hobby.
Great vid really enjoyed that love from England
Florida has been good to Coin Guy. He seems like a real honest dealer and a genuine nice “guy.” Love these videos.
Regards, Jim from LI NY.
Ps, nailed the accent immediately, the Long Island one that is, definitely remnants of the Boroughs as well.
Right on James! Thanks for your comment.
Love the coin guy videos he has so much knowledge I could watch him all day. Thanks speg you the man👍👍👍
Thanks Mark! Hopefully you and the girls found some enjoyment in the video. That makes my day.
@@Spegtacular we truly like coin guy he has some cool stuff. Keep up the awesome videos brother we here in Alabama Love it
There’s a state that I’d love to visit again!
I'm an old man (63) who recently retired, and I'm so glad I discovered your channel! I've always admired coins, but never formally collected them. However, I do have good sized jar full of wheat copper and steel pennies and various pure(?) silver coins that I took out of circulation over the years. I've often thought of dropping off everything I have at a coin dealer in an effort to determine the value, but that would be a very lazy approach. Any suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated. THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL YOU DO!!
Grab a red book and have a great couple of days digging through history
SpegTacular Yes, I have a large number of coins to examine, so buying the latest copy of the Red Book would be a good investment. THANKS AGAIN!!
Love this interview, the shop owner seems like a great guy, very knowledgeable. Gold ain't a better conductor of electricity than silver though!
Learn more from this Guy than in the Coin Books, especially about the Bell Crack on the Benjamin.
I know this is a year ago but this man is amazing with his knowledge
Recently started watching Guys videos and its cool to know i have 3 years wirth of content to catch up on
Love the vid and I actually went to his shop, yes he is personable on a daily basis . Got to love that🤩
That's awesome Bob.
Awesome video!!!! Very cool coin shop. I would love to stop in an visit with Mr. Guy someday.
Go on by and have a chat.

Wicked video man. Love the coin guy interviews so much knowledge. Very informative and educational. Thanx man
Hey David! He’s able to share his experience and I’m able to share him with you! What a perfect marriage.
@@Spegtacular ya dude seriously good stuff im diggin the vids for sure. Btw i just got my predator coin the other day from the silver knight. Holly hell dude!!!! Thanx a lot dude
Awesome!
Nice now I have something to watch for the next hour while I sit at work thanks speg
That’s why I did this! I wanted Ric to enjoy something while at work! Mission accomplished;)
@@Spegtacular great work speg haha
Silver is the most electrically conductive metal not gold ( @ 39:55 ). Thanks for the upload.
He didn’t say that. Think bigger picture beyond simply immediate use. Over time gold will outlast silver. I think the same way you do but it’s why gold is utilized more for such applications where tarnishing or corrosion would cause issue with a device.
Great video. I could easily spend hours listening to coin guy talk about coins.
We’re three videos deep at this point so over an hour and a half worth of the man available on my channel.
great video you two. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Awesome Colin! Thank you for the comment.
Coin guy is the real deal. FINE JOB!
I enjoy the in shop videos alot. Thanks
I enjoy doing them! Thank you
Awesome coin set you have at the end !
Very interesting. Lots of good information. thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome!
