I highly recommend adding plates to the rear chassis to stop the flex. Then change out shock fluid to 70k. And adjust preload to 5mm front and 10mm rear. It transforms this truck. I wasn’t a fan of mine at first. I love it now after doing those things. I also removed one rear spare tire and changed the location to flat mounted. They no longer smack the ground. And the truck soaks up landings better, plus a little lighter in the rear end

Got excited when I saw you got this truck. Due to the high res clear videos and editing. Love the suspension travel in these trophy trucks. I too agree with the other poster that said gear mesh sounds off. First thing I noticed when it ran in the video. Hopefully youll get a chance to take a look when you have some time

That new battery tray is so much better then the original SBR. The original you had a little lever you had to slide which you would almost have to hit to get it to move and it could barely fit 2 batteries

@@FivoNine The 2.0 is a much better looking rig. The version one was ugly and looked disproportionate when it came to the dimensions. It looked way too wide and fat in my opinion. Also the color schemes didn’t look all that good either. 1.0 might have been a bit cheaper though? maybe $100? I can’t remember

Handles a lot better than the other desert truck models. I saw videos on the UDR and Mojave. Mojave definitely handles better, but both suck compared to this beast. I'm sure the increased size has a lot to do with it, but the design and tuning certainly play a role.
Its definitely one of my favorite trucks to run. Would love to see how the mojave compares to it. Overall i love how realistic it is to the full size brenthel brothers truck 😊

I am back! Really nice truck! I SHOULD be getting one when Losi stocks up on them! It just handles so nice! LOVE the slo-mo’s! Also, is the suspension really nice on this thing? Also, don’t know if you saw my last video, but I got an XMAXX, and I am sooooo excited to run it! Just waiting in some batteries I ordered on Amazon! One more thing, is this the place you ran your XMAXX off that HUGE jump a while back? Just looks familiar, even with the water! GREAT VIDEO!

@@FivoNine how much bro ! I had my original rc10 gold chassis buggy I built in 1989! I’ve been out of the entire rc scene from 1992 to now 2021. I had the rc10L on road as well and those where 1/10th scale now I’m getting ready to get into the hobby finally along with single track mountain biking again. And gym and etc etc. my son now 18 years old and now I have the time still have the health and cash 💰😎

XRT is a nice truck for everything, Super Baja rey is more for driving on rough terrains but not big jumps

Stumbled across this video doing research on this truck and was shocked at how familiar that ORV park looked from a spot we used to frequent when I was in high school 20 years ago. Then at the end of the video I realized your channel name and went “omg, that’s the same place!”. I grew up in Spokane and I used to take my 93 F150 there all the time.
