Your 💯 right when you say you'll have issues with everything. I just purchased same feeder and looking forward to seeing how it does. Thanks for making video
I had the same issue with my tree line 600 pound feeder I had to lower the spinner a little the bolt that holds the spinner from coming down needs to be loosened and lower the spinner to allow more gap so it doesn’t bind any more. It stopped having that issue
Do you think that the pieces of Cobb that is in the corn is what was causing the issue? I am looking at getting one of these and just curious. Is that the corn from tractor supply that had the Cobb left in it?
My battery did good for the season ,it’s still going strong .. but I did notice it struggled on those cloudy days .. the battery would get down to 1 bar but would still spin
I have 2 of these feeders. One works as it should and the other does not stay charged. As if the solar panel isn't charging. Ive replaced battery and tested solar panel with volt meter. Tests good. Not sure what the problem is.
It looked like to me the corn by the motor was starting to get moldy. That will cause the motor to be weak and not spin freely. And if it stops. That corn will eat up the motor and feeder. With larger feeders you need to spin twice a day 10 seconds. That way the bottom corn is moved out and doesn't get a chance to grab moisture.

I haven’t had any issues with it since then .. but with it up high the coons can’t spin corn out of it
Did you have to change motor or what happened?? I am having Same problems
No I didn’t I just spin it then test it again. That’s worked for me so far ..

I’m not sure if that’s causing the issue.. & yes that was corn from tractor supply..
@@TjsOutdoorAdventures I appreciate the feedback.
@@nattyfan4life no problem
Would it be necessary to grease or lube up the spinner arms? I’m thinking in due time it might not work as well
@@efren4 I noticed that mines got a little stiff but they still spin.. probably next off season I’ll grease it
How does the solar/battery work out for you? Mine goes completely dead on one cloudy day.

It go off twice a day . I’ve noticed that It get moldy with certain types of corn mixtures.. if I use straight corn it don’t get stuck.
