Looking down the barrel is to ensure that it's clean from any debris that would make the weapon malfunction or even explode when fired.
So first, make sure there's no ammo, sencond, make sure the barrel is clean enough for further use.
Does make sense.
yep
i have had coffee with som of the danish frogmen and they are cool guys
You previously asked about the weapons. The Danish military adopted the Canadian Diemaco C7 and C8 (as M95 and M96. Meaning the year they entered.). We now use the Colt Canade C8 IUR (M10) :-), with different barrel lenghts. We also got the SIG SAUER P320 X-CARRY as standard sidearm, although Special Forces, weeelll can choose as they like... ;-)
This is almost ten years old. Since then, they have whupped pirates of Nigeria as well, and been active elsewhere. Especially the last two years.
Hey, shouldn’t this be episode 2 part 1?
Love the videos :)
Yes it is haha, thank you 🙏 great to hear you are enjoying the videos
Fun fact: The danish king has served as a frogman
This is the reason why you wear a helmet... After soldiers started using helms in the first world war, there were a huge increase in soldiers getting injured to the head. The reason? The helmet stopped them from dieyng, and has most likely saved the frogman in the videos life as well.
Another great series. I'm really enjoying these
My class officer, during my education for becoming an NCO, was the former NC in the corps before he went on as a UN Observer. As an aspiring frogman, he actually died during an exercise and was clinically dead for 6 minutes and still passed the curse as the only one that year.
That is a man you don't say "I can't" to, or you will be tested in every measure possible.
We look down the barrel to ensure that there is nothing blocking. Mudd is not a good thing to have in the barrel, and you will be surprised what you can find in guns you haven't handled for a while. Sometimes, they grease up the gun for storage, and it's just a good idea to check the barrel when you know the gun is unloaded.
You cant go directly to SWESOF. You have to have completed basic training first. Usually you tend to have a few years of experience first

React to the Indian Navy telefilm please
The video is in English, and goes into great details about the working and training of the navy. All of the footage is also original navy footage since the vid is official
