@@joannehinh4464 I think it was the fact that I didn't stretch it? He was already 4 months when I got it, so it didn't get a chance to "stretch as he grew." It's hard to tell cuz I don't use it much now cuz he hates it. Now that he can crawl, he wants to roam free.
When I walk with my baby in this position, his head bumps back against my chest bone repeatedly. He is 8 months old and has full head control in every other situation. How can I stop the bumping?
Anyone else having trouble with this wrap not going as smoothly as in the video … my wrap doesn’t stay centered or work as easily but it’s the right size … I’m sorry but I think sizing up is better
Hi there! Feel free to schedule a Fit Check with Friends hosted by our very own babywearing educator who can help you with sizing and positioning here: calendly.com/bkfitcheck
Hi Winnie, The wearer should watch baby’s cues and turn them around if they get overstimulated. The Adventure Position is meant for a more short term hold, to ensure healthy and happy babywearing!
Baby K'tan yeah but what is a short term hold? You guys don’t specify? If there is no overstimulation, how long is safe for the baby? Baby needs to be placed in an ergonomic position ( M shape legs). As to avoid hip issues
Hi Rubicari, The Baby K’tan can be worn in a variety of ergonomic positions as baby grows and develops. It is of course important to always follow our wearing instructions and safety tips for each position. The Adventure Position is for use with babies 5+ months who have complete head and neck control and muscles are more developed. In the Adventure position, the fabric should be spread wide to reach the bend in baby’s knees so that baby is in the natural “M” or squat position, in order to provide healthy hip-development. This position, and the Baby K’tan Baby Carrier as a whole, is approved as Hip-Healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. The sash is also required in the Adventure position in order to provide the additional layers of support needed for forward facing. The wearer should also watch baby’s cues and turn them around if they get overstimulated. The Adventure Position is meant for a more short term hold, to ensure healthy and happy babywearing!
So dumb this stupid baby wearing suggestion not to wear forward facing for long periods of time like what 20 min? To avoid overstimulation. Meanwhile babies do much more things and look around ride in carriages, carts for longer and are happy
Love this video because of the happy baby! 😍
Aww, we totally agree. Such a happy little dude!
This made my baby's legs, as well as several other mothers I've spoken to, blue, purple and/or splotchy after only 10 minutes!

Is it the position or the wrap causing it? I’m curious, just bought the wrap

Then you probably did it too tight or had the wrong size?

Megalogue I brink the sash as high up in their chest as it will go and that seems to help me.
Baby is so happy! Adorable.

How long is too long and will cause over-stimulation for the babies using this adventure position?

Esa postura es incorrecta para un bebé, debería de utilizarse de manera ergonomica, y probablemente sea bueno
