Yes! The Baby K'tan can be used up to 35lbs. There are 5 different wearing positions depending on baby's age, development and comfort. At 7 months, I would recommend giving the Hug, Adventure and possibly Hip positions a try.
Introduce the Explore position when baby has full head control about 5/6 months. All of the Baby K’tan Baby Carriers are safety tested from birth-35lbs (3.6-15.8 kg), and all of the carriers can be worn in five different ergonomic positions (Kangaroo, Hug, Adventure, Explore, and Hip). Please make sure to follow all of our wearing instructions and safety tips for each position.
Hi Michaela, yes you can comfortably wear your 7 month old. At her weight, I would recommend trying the Kangaroo Position or the Hug Position. Keep in mind that every baby and individual is different, so you might find that one position works better for you over another. Hi Chelsea, every baby is different and some may feel more comfortable in one position over another. Try placing your daughter in this position with legs criss-crossed, or she may simply prefer the Hug Position at this point, with legs free. Feel free to reach out to our K'tan Care department for additional assistance! info@babyktann.com
I tried it, baby and me were so comfortable. But are her legs supposed to be crossed like a yogi 🧘🏻♀️ inside?
Hi Layla! Baby should be in a seated 'natural ' position. Happy babywearing! xo
Should the baby be placed centrally in this position?
How do you keep your baby from ending up on your belly after minutes of being in the carrier?
