What I would give to get the original plaza and attraction back, if only for a day...
Same goes for all of Disney World. Sad what they've been doing to the place.
I concur with Mark Silverman on this mix. Just hearing the first minute alone has taken me back to the memories I had with the original ride. Excellent job!
I always listen to this piece. Beautiful. That's the queue I first remember with the guitar and the parrot. Sounds like a good name for the tavern across the Plaza. El Guitarra y el Perico.
It wouldn't be too impossible to have a throwback once in a while to this, as it is mostly Sound FX that has been changed. They have redeemed themselves by bringing back the Skull, as I found that part very flat without it (they need the 'No Fear' spiel back in the dark also, as that part has lost some magic and mystery). I also thought the initial 'Yo Ho' gives the ride the feel of a jolly voyage, before fading away to the 'Dead Men Tell No Tales' which then gives a sinister and foreboding feel...
That’d be so cool if they did that say, once a year or something - or maybe for a week... cool idea.

This version was far better than the 'Depp' version now. I think they have ruined the whole feel this ride once had, it's a shame.

Great stuff. Very well put together. Being a voice actor for Disney of course I find this kind of thing really fascinating.... It is exactly the way it was when my father took me in 1980. I only wish I could hear the crashing of the waterfalls all around when you first enter the cavern while YOHO is playing.

I am the voice of a Spanish soldier that yells FUEGO!! and the cannons shoot off on the top of the attraction on the outside of the building. My voice comes out of a helmet as part of the Treasure of the seven Seas interactive game.
I think it's so cool someone who's voiced Disney (and Ghibli!) stuff enjoys this stuff. ^_^ Thanks for adding to the magic!

Still don't understand why they removed the bird and drowned out the queue SFX, there was no need for that
It was removed along with the Tiki Room Barker bird due to people clogging up the line and staring at it.

Foxxy, im so sorry i feel like im asking WAYY too much here, but can i have isolated sounds from 2021 audio, like different pirate voices, barbossa dialog, NEW auctioneer, Redd from 2017 too pretty much every potc sfx and dialog
