Thanks for sharing. Too bad you did not show how to fix the extenders to the back plate. This was not described in the manual. Neither was it obvious how to do this. To make matters worse: the 'help line phone nr' on the box did not get me to support. Instead, it connects you to 'DirectTV' helpdesk, of which I am not a subscriber. What's that all about?
I have a wall mount that is 6 years old, I think it is an Omni Mount. How do I pull it out from the wall because I need to plug the new tv power cord into both the wall outlet and the tv outlet?
This is exactly why I’m here! Instructions in packaging was like reading a foreign language. Particularly since there is so much play in the extenders.
The instructions show find two studs. I notice you guys only look for one stud in video. How many studs do i look for? I thought ur supposed to screw nails into the studs? Also u didnt show how to connect the 4 bars to the black plate that goes on the back of tv.
+Kristy Nicole I was surprised to see that the video only showed one stud, but it seems it missed to explain if the screws were inserted in to the stud (or studs usually 16" apart). This video is a total failure! However, when I look at the instruction manual found at the web site, it seems to indicate that the back plate must be secured between two studs, but it never give the measurements of the back plate holes to see if they are at least 16" apart. Again, even the instruction manual is a total failure trying to explain how to install or what the measurements are of each part in detail. Total Failure!
+Kristy Nicole Hi Kristy, thank you for reaching out to us about your installation. What type of installation are you trying to do with this mount? Are you mounting it via a solid wall installation? Wood stud installation? Each of these steps is outlined in our manual starting on page 12. You can find a downloadable copy of the manual here: www.omnimount.com/products/by_family/omniclassic/oc120fm/ I hope this helps!
Perfect product demo; just what I needed. Proceeding with purchase now.
your video did not show how cross arm on back side of tv. The location of screws are pre drill?

Hey,
Did you ever figure out how to properly attach the extenders?

Hi. i have the same problem, i dont know how connect the 4 bars to the black plate, any help?
This helps, but I'm just here to complain about there not being an Allen wrench. Why TF would that not come included?
Is it available in India currently?
Managed to finally install it, video was absolutely no help. A lot of skipped steps. Hopefully they will do step by step video for other customers.
300mm×300mm configuration?
My worked great thanx
Video really starts at 1:03
These comments are hilarious! All complaints (except 1)... (LOL)
I have done it by READING the instructions. So what is the problem?
