I just wanted to clarify that the UKMEC guidelines re stopping the combined pill at 50 apply to contraceptive use only. They do not extend to therapeutic use ie where the pill is being used to treat a condition and where it remains medically indicated.
Be careful calling it just vaginal dryness - it can be (and often is) VAGINAL ATROPHY / GSM which is vastly more serious and can/does kill women and leads to incontinence. It affects 80% women. It is often mistaken for UTIs, so repeated UTI symptoms in peri/post menopause is often an early sign of GSM/VVA. It also is one of the only perimenopause symptoms that continues after menopause and worsens until we die and therefore MUST be treated as early as possible. It must be taken seriously.
I will never recommend Bupa as they haven't paid Hospital claims even though it was claimed for the emergency department. I paid them around more than 4 years. The cover I took from them was essential visitor cover. So stupid and I am feeling that they cheated me. So never go for Bupa. Go for NIB, especially if you are a student. Bupa rips you off, when it comes to pay for hospital claims!

Thanks for sharing ladies. I do not think we share enough at times.

What are the symptoms of VAGINAL ATROPHY / GSM. I have been given treatment but not sure exactly what for. (Never had any UTIs)
