Keep her in your prayers always, encourage her to call regular, establish a routine with her. The military is not what some makes it out to be especially for woman and ppl of color. PTSD is real for veterans but we rarely get the help we need and when we do they rarely listen. Speaking from experience I went through it bad on all my deployments but my last one hit real hard. Didn't know what was wrong with me. Long story short I was told if I seek mental help they will not re-enlist me. I sought help and just didn't care to stay in anymore after 12yrs.

As a 28yr Army veteran, this breaks my heart. Here we have a death and no feedback from authorities. (Autopsy report, criminal investigation?) For everyone, the public DESERVES feedback. As for how the federal government treats vets? We ALL know it is poor. That speaks volumes for how our politicians hold veterans in contempt. Illegal aliens get more help than our veterans. That is shameful and WRONG!

I'm a veteran and I was homeless for almost 4 years, but have been in my own apartment for a year now ONLY through the help of the VA. So the VA will help, but it is a process. There are veteran only shelters that do a decent job of helping you find your way back to a normal life. But the biggest reason people become & stay homeless is severe mental illness. For those with schizophrenia, severe bi-polar, & delusional disorder, they are their own worst enemies & are extremely challenging to treat successfully over a lifetime. It's just really sad, because they didn't ask to be mentally ill, yet there's not one area of their life that isn't negatively affected.

Being a Army PTSD Veteran for many years you struggle with the mental issues, and it's overwhelming at times, especially when your own family doesn't understand, let alone the community in which we live.
We are often times stigmatized by our mental illness. It's not not hard to see why there is such a high rate of suicide rate among Veteran's! In 2021, research found that 30,177 active duty personnel and veterans have died by suicide, 17 (16.8) Veteran suicides a day. The suicide rate for Veterans is 1.5 times higher than that of the general population. In my case my children, and siblings have never taken the time to try to understand the daily battles, the demons inside that a soldier has to face. You attach that mental reality along with the other daily struggles that a indigenous person has to endure in this society. Things such as, unqualified and unprofessional medical practitioners, lack of proper medical treatment,
a VA system that is broken, extremely racist Doctor's and individuals that have no empathy for Veterans. Many of these individual's have no business working within the VA system.

May God Help Y’all Get to the Bottom of This 😡 definitely sounds like foul play! Unfortunately it’s cheaper to live in a storage unit and you don’t have to worry about neighbors. I have PTSD and it’s hard to be around crowds of people and at one point I rented office space at a storage unit because it was more isolated but off the streets and more affordable. I’m a Navy Veteran and Pray Someone comes forward!!!

I bet the owner of that storage unit whoever was running the place has either fled the country or sold it 10 to one they're from India or Asia. Cuz one of them walked by one oh there's not a lock on here I'll put one on here click though I don't know what type of lock they use but if it's a bad lock somebody had to hook it through the loop and lock it where is that somebody?

    He is not suffering anymore😢
Where was his family when he needed the help? Now that he is no longer here physically they seek answers? He decided not to be with his family for a reason that or his family just denied him any help. For the family to say they don’t know why he chose to live at a unit we all can see through that. SMH. He kept a job and found a place that he could afford and felt safe rather than choosing the streets. My respects for him for staying strong. 🙏🙏🙏✨ Let us seek the Kingdom of Heaven not the possessions of this world for all shall pass but the word of the LORD will stand forever and ever. Amen.

People need to stop 🛑 judging the family. Sometimes no matter what you do 🙏 the person is an adult and you are limited in what you can do. Also some of the organizations Veterans Administration, Mental Health and Housing have such insurmountable processes just to receive assistance. The world can be so cold. If you don't have the mindset, funds or personal connections, it is too easy to become a statistic. My heart ❤️ goes out to this man and his family. Easy to sit in judgement when you don't have any compassion, don't know the story and don't personally know or care about the victim.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

*Yeah this happened in Arlington. The storage worker knew the guy was there and locked him in due to pure hate. They knew that unit with the door closed and locked would be an oven and the guy would suffocate and die, it's been in the 90s here in DaLLas/FtW which actually feels like 100 degrees due to the humidity. If the storage or worker knew nothing about the man being locked in or dead then why did they immediately refuse to talk to police? Use your heads people, he already knew the man was dead. He was locked in and dead for days as well, came up missing March 23rd and police didn't show up to the storage unit until April.*

Someone employed at Public Storage probably lives on the property. There is an employee who lives onsite at most Public Storage locations. The locations with lighthouses have people living onsite, I believe, but I am not completely certain of that. Most locations do have apartments onsite for an employee to live at and keep a look out for things such as meth labs and homeless people living in lockers.

Bless his soul, may he RIP. The responsibility is his own. Not the storage place. They also need to take responsibility that they his family knew he was suffering from mental illness. When is it time to start taking responsibility for your own actions. To stop blaming society. Be self accountable. The employees thought he was gonna be attacked because of the reactions of who confronted him. He was alone and confronted. Most bosses will tell their employees not speak to anyone but police. Especially if there is a situation like this. Sorry history has repeatedly shown the dangers of not being cautious as an employee. To blame the storage for anything todo w that man lying and scamming his way into staying there. Seriously he was breaking the law by living there w no permission. The family knew about the storage unit so are they responsible too for his death ? This is just sad all around. Sad they blasted his face and personal struggles to the world. Wish people would consider if the decease would really want blasted out. Especially if it was self induced death or overdose. Just sad. Time to start taking responsibility for one own action and choices. Not point blame without knowing facts. Storage place needs to look into their own legal rights/laws to this video and what was said. Sad sad sad in every way.

He must have died a cruel Death No ventilation! No Help!Talk to the young man, who evaded questioning??? Who was Responsible for ensuring those Units were empty each and every day??? Was he asleep in the Storage Unit, after being hurt??? Please talk with that young man, to see if he will divulged any information that will assist.Your answer is not far away, it's in plain sight. Its good a lot of people are talking about and addressing the
Mental Health, issues going on in people lives. It's so serious and damaging to people and their family life. I recently lost a sister, that struggled for years, from mental health issues. She was on medication for it. Not sure if that was good either. She seemed more calm, when she took the medication. At the same time, all the prescription medication, did also damage some organs, and caused many health issues, in which she died from.
Even though it's a sad thing to lose your family member, and she will be greatly missed. I am ok knowing, that she is not suffering any more. It was indeed difficult for us, her family members to be around her. Many things we could not say to her, because she would get so angry and fight people.
    May God rest her soul!
And your son that passed away.😢😢😢
    God is good! Still!

Sounds like he was locked inside on purpose. They are always supposed to check, by lifting up the door. The big question is, why didn’t they just lift up the door, or call out to see if anyone was in the unit?

A lot of questions! Why was he locked in? A freakn’ functional person in society/Veteran was locked inside a storage unit where he was living with no problems previous to dying! Perhaps he had problems &arguments with the people in charge of keeping the units secure. So they locked him in to :
    “Teach him a lesson!”
