- Something a bit different, in the video I review my friend's 2017 Shelby Raptor Baja Edition Ford F-150 finished in avalanche grey. This thing is a looker! A performer too. On or off road, it's incredibly easy and a joy to drive. To explain my title, these start at $116,815 and go up from there. Not to mention the $5-10k mark-up some dealers are doing. I'm not one for v6 full size trucks but overall I think Ford did a good job on the 3.5 ecoboost. They can get a ton of power out of them for care my little amount if money. It may not sound great but it's still a nice engine

It’s a lot, but I doubt most of these people don’t know the full capabilities of this truck. Try it off road Baja style which it’s made to do and you’ll see why it’s $120k. Full trophy trucks cost $500k. So a luxury prerunner like this with upgrades is a good investment if you’re into that kind of driving

Nice review Brandon. Its definitely an expensive truck. I remember the one I did just over a year ago at $99K and that was pricey. But again, people just need to remember the purpose & why anyone would buy this car--if its what you want, its what you want. Anyway, nice job and best wishes for 2018!

Just purchased a new Raptor and Love it in two years this truck goes to my Son and I am going to pick up a Shelby Raptor next they are fantastic trucks had a Platinum F250 and the comfort in the Raptor is 100 times better but that's due to towing capabilities... get one they are Awesome.
If I could comfortably buy this I definitely would, the dream garage would be a gt350, this, and an Escalade

This version of the raptor should have come with the coyote 5.0 or the VooDoo from the gt350.
Love how people say a v6 what no never but people you need to drive it first it’s an amazing engine much better then the v8 and a Toyota super has a v6 Nissan gtr has a v6 so what’s wrong with a v6 in a truck nothing at all people are just mad that the v6 makes more power then there v8

It’s not worth $120,000...just get a f-150 or a 1500 Silverado. There bigger stronger and cheaper. You also get more flexibility for upgrades. New intake, wheels, and a lift kit. You got yourself a beast. A new truck runs for about $60,000 that’s half the price.

I have seen that truck in the lake travis area its so badass. I have a 2012 eco boost its a great motor. Mine has cold air intake a bully dog tune and flowmaster exhaust. The aftermarket tune really wakes this beast up I have beat serval v6 mustangs and some old 4.6 gt in red light races.

Every time I'm driving and one of those light bars is shining in my face, I want to follow the guy until he stops, smash every single light with a bat, and take a big steaming megashit on his driver's seat. It should be a $10,000 fine for driving on a highway with those things turned on.

just my 2 cents, I recently tested a '18 Raptor crew cab and thought that there was too much lag in the turbo or somewhere?, when I wanted peddle in a corner or off a slow run I just got more lag or hesitation than I want with there performance. I have had other bi/twin turbos before and it seems they were much better than this design? This performance leaves me unsatisfied with a $70/73,000 truck, now don't get me wrong, I would probably still like to own it if it was, a only or mostly off road rig. Any-hoo, I felt I would regret the price for a daily driver.

Unfortunately the word FORD at the front and back is so big. It isn't a brand name any more. It is an advertising tool. I believe we as customers must appeal to FORD to charge them for this advertising tool. Yes I am serious. FORD is so so big to be as a logo or a brand. I can counterfeit those seat in any color. you just remove factory seat covers. razor blade cut stitch on patch panel. use it as pattern over leather or vinyl of your choice. have guy sew strips of Suede. as for decal stitch it's called embroidery logo you send them patch panel patterned cut. mostly put it on head rests. do your headliners in suede. headliner comes off Easy. take to front seats out fold it a bit like taco. man have your truck looking correct

It's a nice truck and all but if I were gonna spend $100k+ on a truck, I would get the Shelby F150. More horsepower, costs less, looks better(in my opinion), and HAS A V8!!!

In terms of capability, some 6.0l f250 with a busted head gasket going for 5k bucks will probably do better. This one will never see a dirt patch or a hard day of work.
I bet when Shelby America saw a 6 cyl come in they had an 80s moment. I am still trying to figure out FORD and this engine....

With all due respect, the regular Raptor looks a lot better. All of the branding is overkill and the light bar/roll bar reminds me of the Subaru Brat. Seriously, is this the 1980's throwback version? Kind of denigrates the Shelby name.
