Nobody covers new truck info better than Andre👍
Yes sir I agree 💯
To show the difference and many stages and what they do I appreciate your efforts of you all making the video
Oh god the frame rate
laser14344 it’s pretty bad but it’s whatever as long as I can see
I think it's filmed with a smartphone
Ryan really knows his products. I was very impressed by all of his explanations.
So cool to get info on how the shocks works & differences between them.
i really wouldnt want to mount my reservoir in the wheel well. No, i'm not an expert, but for mud i would think a month's worth of rock/ mud solution would really beat the piss out of those connectors and lines.
Super knowledgeable rep, expected nothing less from fox. I bet he was a marketing major. I'm putting the 3.0 on my miata.
I was impressed too how knowledgable he was.
“More suspension than truck” 😂
Who ever thought talking about your factory shocks would ever be cool 😎
6k for a complete set is a steal, considering the 6k on a single shock at the Ford parts counter for a stock one! But with those lower Heim joints they will only last 1000 mls...... By the way, are those joints serviceable?
Aluminum can corrode and pit causing leakage so yes it won't rust but it can corrode
Yeah, but its also hard coat anodized...
8:50 for the Raptor shocks
Some pretty Serious suspension parts...Nice..but thy jus look expensive..thanks Andre..🏁🏁Great job as always.
My buddy just bought one of the Shelby Raptors and I was highly impressed.
I wish I had a rich friend
Sweet. How is it mall crawling?
You have the best buddy ever!
@@speterbilt just am FYI, I made him take it offroad and chase me around one day on my new 2020 Can Am XRC RR, and like I said it did much better than I thought it would. It went up some trails that I was suprised it made it up.
Really well done thorough presentation.
Your channel is definitely growing
Well done, Andre!
How many names can one model of a pick truck has? What’s next. Ford F-150 Raptor Bronco Shelby GT500?
The frame rate is bad on this video, dont know if it is the auto stabilization on the camera that does that or something wrong with the camera. If you are able to film higher then 30fps i reccomend you do it. Also... i want that Raptor. Hope you guys will do a video on it if possible
Agreed with the frame rate. For the FPS, meh. I think they just need to use an app like Filmic Pro where they can control the bit rate. That’s really what determines quality. More frames just demands a higher bit rate so even simpler phone apps will jack it up. At least that’s my understanding so far; I’m still learning.
@@GeorgeAdams Bit rate determins quality in grains and displayed resolution. Has nothing to do with the choppyness when the frames dropped. FPS = Frames per second, this is what was unstable in the video. Higher Frame rate up to 120 ish frames is what you would start struggeling getting noticable return in smoothness in the video.
Bad Habit monster truck in the background 😍
I love these videos wish it wasn't so choppy though
95% of the Raptors I see just have mall parking lot dust on them. These idiots will never use this truck offroad except to climb a curb to Starbucks
Bahahahaaaa, very true.
Haters
GReat job Andre!
My Specialized Epic M4 Mountain Bike come with a tri link rear and dual shock front Fox Brain Shock System!
Good grief you could buy a small house for the cost of that truck in certain parts of the country
Tell me about it. And they wonder cars sales are down. They keep raising the price and expect us to buy just because theres more power. It's not like when we drive in the highway we can go more than 80 mph without getting a speeding ticket
The Gray shocks the soft 2 hard ones Mitsubishi had sum thing like that in the 94 jeeps
Someday when I'm rich and famous
Now it just needs a Dana 60 under the front end. Too bad it isn't a straight Bolt-in.
The camera you use seems less crisp than I’d like
Wow what a truck!!! Raptor 😋 and make my shocks 2.5 please 😳 only dreaming
wonder which youtuber will get one itsjusta6 ?
What happens when the cooling fins on the remote reservoirs get packed with mud?
Then they work only as good as the competitors reservoirs
So which shock system should i install on my f250 diesel to make way more comfortable?
You can see several choices at ridefox.com. Under the truck section, there is a search by each vehicle.
Put them ony jeep, they are awesome
👑
Why fox don't make shocks for side by sides under $1000
@MoneyPit Jku that's true, not in my case, I'm looking at bandits $1350 for the set (for Polaris ranger)
Falcons 3.3 👍
That Monster truck in the background would have been more interesting imo. The Shelby Raptor is cool but not like a Monster truck.
If I only had 3 more inches on my shaft ...... Yeah that's what my husband said !!!!!!!
Did they mention the price, or was I deadened by how bad sss they look..?
The new remote reservoir 3.0 Live Valve shocks retail for just over $6,000 for a set of 4.
Msrp per pair: Front $3799.95, Rear$3399.95
Andre is awesome
Those 3.0 cooling vanes look like they will get packed with mud and then not cool much.
Then they only work as good at cooling as the competitors shocks
Indefendent frunt suspension frucks ....... Wtf
Wish i could meet andre 😔
$120k for cheap brake caliper covers? Typical Shelby con job
The frame is way too weak for anything serious in the dirt.
William Schuman uhhhhhh okay
The frame of the Raptor is too weak? Thats why Raptor ran Baja 1000 race in STOCK BODY DIVISION (nothing was changed from factory) and finished the race before time ran out. I guess that might be this weak frame you talking about.
@@codename7832 We have a few of Raptors in Arizona, the first thing owners that where doing any serious stuff in the desert noticed the frame was bending or coming out of shape to the point that there is a specialty shop in Phoenix that does mods to the frame before they see the dirt let alone the messed up ones already. I read all this in a off-road truck magazine and this was 5 or 6 years ago, just saying motor on.
@@williamschuman4951 that was on Gen 1 Raptors with V8 ... Gen 2 Raptors 2017 and up have frame beefed up in all 4 corners where Gen1 showed weakness. All shock mounting points are beefed up and along the frame in those points they added extra steel. Gen 1 Raptors had exactly same frame as regular F150 thats why people were bending the frame jumping it. Now since 2017 on Gen 2 Raptors frame is much stronger then regular F150.
@@codename7832 Got it, too bad Ford let it go for so long.
Aluminum is great in Arizona. Aluminum disintegrates out here in Pennsylvania.
Yes raw aluminum, but the anodizing should help. Would you rather have zinc plated steel?.....
@@markwgundert4251 I use stainless steel for everything out here on the East Coast
@@rabbibacongrease88 wow you are amazing
If i wasn't such a slouch i could have saved since i first started working and buy this truck.
This truck is worth $250k now lol
#JurassicQuarry featuring #Ford #Raptor coming soon: ua-cam.com/video/9SgrN-siFKc/v-deo.html
That was almost cruel to ask the guy with the lisp to say all those S’s. Hilarious.
S(h)avage
Foxsh Shocksh ;D you killed it man
“Tucked up there for a little wheel well candy”. Right after he said they didn’t do anything just for asthetics. 🙄
Gotta live when you see a UA-camr sponsored by big money. Their channel credibility plummets....👎🏻
If you feel like getting ripped off get the Ford Raptor.
25,th. Thumb's up
Hay iam the 25 the thumb's up
