Most of Jim's videos are him revealing a scammer's personal information, which frankly does absolutely nothing to them. While he did do a few absolutely amazing things (like shutting down entire call centers), over half of his videos are far less useful than simple time consuming calls, as long as those time consuming calls last long enough.

This comparison is way more apt that you might even think. All of them are crime-fighting, out-side-the-law Superheroes who we love to watch them deliver justice to the criminals who deserve it.
Jim Browning is like Batman in that he gathers up their data and reports them to the authorities. In both cases, this does not actually accomplish much. Joker, Penguin, Riddler and Dr. Freeze are always able to escape jail - just like these scammers never seem to face any real consequence from local Indian authorities. Either they don't care or are too under-equipped/staffed to really handle it.
SR is like The Punisher in that he takes matters in to his own hands and 'executes' these criminals figuratively by screwing up their computers, deleting their files and ruining their plans. Sadly for both of them it is a hopeless battle. They are one man, and there will always be more criminals to replace the ones they dispose of.
Please don't misunderstand what I'm saying though. I love both of these real-life Superheroes and think they are doing a great service, and one that is a ton of fun to watch at that.
Scam seems such a light word. I'd call them thieves, parasites, etc.

That'd be awesome, right? I'm only seeing a handful of guys doing this on UA-cam, and I'm sure they're making a difference. However, a couple of guys can only do so much also... if the U.S. government (or whichever governments) would create a whole team with hundreds of guys doing this everyday, that could make a significant impact. I was slow walking a guy once while lake fishing. Kept "getting the wrong files" and getting confused about whether he was talking about my residence or which of my businesses,etc. He finally said I was wasting both our times, and I dropped the bomb, "I'm not wasting my time at all... I'm fishing!" Five seconds of silent realization followed by a quiet "Oh." And he hung up. 🤣🤣🤣
