This Is Why Arsenio Had THE Best Talk Show Of The 90's. He Had All Types Of Guests And Musicians On The Air That Showed The Diversity That Is Music And Movies/Media. Man, I Miss Those Days...

It was refreshing, and I'm not really a Manilow fan. Seems like I remember him having the Plasmatics on, too!
Dave Mustaine is a legend. I am so glad he left Metallica.. the result? two great bands, not just one. Absolute respect to Dave... this vid is 16 years old!
Dave getting kicked out of Metallica is easily one of the best things to ever happen in the history of music. I sincerely think Megadeth is FAR better than Metallica.
I was 10 and I’m 40 now. The more I learn about Dave and after reading his book the more I respect the man. Megadeth has always been a technical and heavy band.
Dave Mustaine is such a talented artist I was 21 years of age back then and I remember this interview well and even then I could look right past that genius mask of his and see this insecure little boy inside trying to prove himself. how do I know this you ask because I was that same insecure little girl. His posture tells his secrets. Dave was the reason I picked up a guitar and started to play.

I saw Megadeth in 85 or 86 in Miami. It was awesome the sound was insane and in a bar on South Beach. I was around 21-22 I'm 50 now and he's still rockin.
Dave Mustaine is Megadeth!!!!! He's an awesome guitar player and writes most of the songs. Metallica shouldve kept him. He was the best talent in the band!!!
That was a good lineup for Megadeth. It was a strange evolution, but a good one. They made some good records. Awesome metal... and Dave's interview point is frighteningly true. (about the serial killer, I mean)
I love Dave's old interviews. He's so witty. The collage dennys person turning into a serial killer. That's my second fav. from him. My first was "Where's the people commiting suicide after listening to Barry Manolow albums?" He's priceless. lol

I have seen Megadeth go through quite a few line-up changes but the sound of Megadeth has never changed. Dave has somehow managed to keep writing the same level of songs and only Marty is truly Megadeth.
Lot of people thought that Arsenio Hall was mainly an urban oriented show but he had a little of Metal bands on as well. I remember watching Stryper on his show.
