hey guys, so I think after trying out the Stance, with the burlier wheelset on this rocky, gnarlier terrain... I'd have to say it's still probably not the best setup for it. Giant equipped this model/level of bike with very basic suspension and I think that's the major bottleneck at this point (literally sticker warning on the fork saying not to jump or ride hard with this fork lmao). The current sus is perfectly fine for bike paths, gravel paths and trails from greens to light blue (intermediate) depending on the rock composition, but overall, it's not the right setup for harder, faster riding on rough terrain. So as much as I wanted to try to use this as a dual purpose emtb, even with the burlier wheelset, I will still have to be selective about what terrain I'm riding.
