A car is a blessing. Learn how to maintain her, learn how to fix her, and she will make your life infinitely better and easier! Always check your oil and brake fluid, make sure you have power steering fluid and coolant. Get your oil changed every 3000 miles, without fail! It's $20 and way cheaper than a new engine! Check your battery regularly. Only put distilled water in your battery and tighten your battery connections every few months. Enjoy the freedom of your new car and stay safe❤
Started July 2020 I saved over 10k, everyone should save dollars especially if you come from nothing, my mind set is to set up for the next generation and breaking the cycle of always starting over for the next generation. Coming from nothing to making good dollars is probably one of the hardest things to deal with, because you got to mentally fight off the poor mindset and not getting into debt with fancy things.
You should worry more about inflation and the fall of america which has been in play since last year, and all your money being on a microchip inserted into your body. Being generationally broke already happened, alot of things ppl are chasing in vain.
Not getting into debt with fancy things i agree with tho. People should learn to live more simply, cause when its all taken away you wont even know how to survive.
I’m happy to be part of these type of people that love to save. I myself just reached close to 50k at age 20 which I’m so grateful for. And will continue to save and invest like crazy. @@Frostarkkit's a good habit to start young. I'm 17 and I turn 18 in 10 months. I have to figure out the ways of adulting uncomfortably because my mom never cared about it enough. This past 6 months have been awful for me and I'm very glad you get to only think about a game you want. But I should let you know it's beneficial to save money at your age.
I became debt free in 2020. All it took was one pandemic, after 10 years of struggling to not spend. I use it now to direct pay all my bills, get that cash back monies, and pay off the balance every month. Congrats on your saving challenge, you're motivating me to open a separate high yield saving account to start letting my money grow.

This is wonderful, the discovery of savings seems to be a lost art. for those who say do this or do that should be careful, I have never been in debt. paid cash for my home. never had a car payment. this was made possible because my parents taught me to save at an early age.
You know debt is a good thing if you’re smart about it.... for instance i invest in the stock market with margins.... and i make money with money i never had in the first place so its a win win for me....
I've become a saver after years of being a spender. I have been able to pay off almost all my debt and saving up for a new car. My son's father is a spender and we have fought about savings for our child. He doesn't get why its important.
I love these types of videos. Being a single mom of two on one income with no support from dad, these videos have helped me get on a budget. I am buying a house this year with savings. But next year I a going to do the 52 week challenge and the $1 challenge

I love this. First video of yours I watched and I’m proud of you. I’m doing a 52 week challenge to save $5,000 but what makes it stand out that it’s not a “week by week” that gradually increases. There’s 52 boxes with amounts ranging from 25-200. Whatever your budget is that week you’ll find the box suitable at that time for your wallet at that time of the year and cross it off. And I’ll do more than one box at a time when I get my hands on extra money due to tax refund, stimulus, mandated overtime, etc.
Ohhhhh I like that I want to do $5000 challenge this year but I would like to be able to pick what a want to put in since it’s a bigger amount. Is there a template you use? Thank for the info 💕

My goal this year is to pay off my school debt and my car payment. The stimulus check I got went towards my car payment and last year I used my tax return towards my debt. I'm planning on doing this next year 2022 after paying my debt off.
As for now, I saved 1500€ in 2020 and even put 400€ in my savings account. For 2021, I hope to stay on track cause I'm already saving for the moments I want to buy a house in my late 20s and I'm turning 21 next week. I really hope we all reach our goals in the future and for my American people who which for it, to be debt free as soon as possible ! Happy New year guys !

Because of watching your video last year- I saved all my $5 bills got my adult children’s Christmas (they each received $300 cash! ). Plus I saved all my $1 bills for our yearly trip to my sons out west. This money paid for all our eating out!! You are so encouraging!!

I do a 5k challenge 2 sometimes 3 times a year. When I open the envelope up with 10k I smile so hard my face starts hurting

ive worked part time since i started working five years ago during school and im excited to finally get a full-time summer internship that i'll actually get to put money away from :D
I was doing this when I was working as a waitress at waffle house I would separate all my bills and change had close to a thousand in tip money plus my pay check now that I'm about graduate from college this was helpful for me I still keep my routines as if I was working again
