Yes, the air brake safety check should be required for everyone who runs air brakes. A workaround for your emergency brake not engaging would have been for you to shut RV off, pump the brakes until all the air was out and your spring brakes should have engaged allowing you to chock camper.
I really like your videos, Liz. Reality is what you show and no covering up when plans change or things go awry. Liz, my Ford F-350 will not lock with the key in the truck, and using the fob, or inside door lock switch. The trick is to push down the lock with your finger, located at the top of the door, by the window. Then close the door. To get back into my truck, I use the outside key code pad. Hi Edward. I was wondering if there was some sort of safety feature with the F150 where Ford designed it to not lock under tow. Thanks for your kind words about my videos!!! See you in the next one!
@@LizAmazing Hi Liz, I did some internet searching about your truck alarm sounding while flat towing and here's a solution I found. "To lock w/o arming the alarm, you first need to lock the rear & passenger doors by manually pressing down the lock button, then get out & lock the driver's door with the key from inside the fob." Maybe it's the old firefighter in me but, I do not like lock my toad while driving. Kudos to you for playing it safe. I really like your rule of '3's. More than half the times I've had breakdowns it was late at night - it complicates things 100x. Now I only travel during the day.
I plan to live this life when I retire for 5 years or so. After that, its gardening until I croak, specifically tomato growing. Don't be afraid to hang up your RV gloves if it becomes no longer fun Liz👍
Exactly! It took me 26 years to get out and here and start living the dream. I am trusting if/when I have a different dream I will continue to follow my heart. Thanks for watching and see you in the next video.
Great video….. we do the same 300 miles and/or off the road by 3pm….. Monday thru Thursday while business are open for parts and easier for a tow! Glad you made it to the shop and got your research done at a rest stop rather than the side of the road or off ramp! Safe Travels….. been watching you for about 3 years now!
Good job. Life happens and you are so real. Thank you for your lessons on keeping calm. Have you tried locking up the truck manually. All this new electronics is very trying sometimes. Hopefully someone has the answer to keep the truck safe!
Thanks for sharing and asking a lot of questions and getting to the bottom of what needs to be done. We have the freedom of choice and we must protect it. I would’ve of put a fitting on the bottom RV tank with a hose and have a valve at the end of the hose. Then fill up a container and lift the container to fill the receiving tank on the truck. It would’ve made it a lot easier to do and you would have less spillage. Also will not wear off the threads of the plug on the bottom of the tank. Have fun on your travels.
High five indeed! Perfect backup! Now look, if you are overwhelmed by California traffic, come to my Tombstone Arizona... a secret oasis in Cochise County, the Land of Legends in the heart of the true west. We are very RV friendly... and you can always park that huge rig next to our old high school on Fremont St between 6th and 8th, like truck drivers do, right in the heart of town!
Wow, Jon, I may just take you up on that! I'm done with cold rainy and snowy Southern California! But..I don't want to worry about rattlesnakes. Thanks for watching!
Liz - regarding locking the doors on your F150 that you tow without having the doors unlock or the alarm going off when you hit a bump, try locking the doors manually without using the power door lock nor the key fob: • Lock the door from the inside by pushing the door lock button manually and then shut the door from the outside. • Lock the door manually from the outside using the mechanical key in the door lock. Hope this solves the problem as you can lock the doors mechanically without activating the electronics which arms the security system!
Awesome job reversing!!! *high five*! I can relate: for the first time ever, I recently reversed our 37' Class A down our very long and narrow driveway, between a house and fence, around a phone pole... and out into the street. I was so excited for having safely accomplished this, I "air" high-fived a driver who stopped traffic for me. 🤣
Glad to see you are OK Liz. I had the same problem with my tow vehicle. What I did was manually lock my doors. Completely unlock both doors then push the lock button down on each door. This will not engage the alarm. Thus my alarm stopped going off at a bump etc. Good luck
Welcome to our fair city of Riverside, California! Can't believe we had a super star visit us! Man, your vids our so "Amazing", it seems that it's over so fast like a good movie. Take care Miss Liz!
Oh, you are so kind! Thanks for traveling with me. And yes, I so enjoyed your GREEN hills, it's like Ireland!!! I know it's only temporary so I'm glad I got up to Chino Hills SP. Thanks for watching.
I’m sorry you are having so many problems. You are tuff you will get through this. I would of loved to see a great and safe travel day for you . Maybe things will turn for the better . You did the right thing by staying over until the coach was safe that was a great lesson for your followers. As always amazing video, you are the best . You look great even after all the stress. ❤❤
Great job Liz keeping it all together! I also have driven all over the country and in lots of traffic and weather and being patient and calm is a good key . We are never to old to keep learning ways to fix anything that arises!
Liz. Enjoy the videos! I also am a solo RVR in a motorhome. Perhaps you have already used this but one idea I found very useful… I carry collapsible orange cones in one of my outside bays, and before backing into a spot or a service bay or whatever I assess the situation and set out two or three cones to guide me into the space I’ve already cleared. I found this to be very helpful. Maybe not new information for you but thought I would mention it. Safe Travels.
Absolutely, great tip! I have mentioned it in previous videos but I'm so glad you mentioned that here. Like you, I use them to back up into sites. Looking forward to seeing you on the road, happy travels!
Hi Liz. Wanted to share this with you. If you change your shocks to FSD Koni all around, it will give you more stability and a million dollar ride. I owned a 2004 alpha gold. Road like a dream. Amazing!
I just had a chassis shop give it a good look over and everything is A-OK. I've heard good things about the Koni so I will make a note for later down the road. Thank you!
Great job backing up. Hope you got the repair done and back on the road. Our issue was a structural failure of the floor that supported our kitchen slides and I spent a whole day making temporary repairs so we could continue our trip.
Oh no! That should not happen on a rig like yours, so sorry. I hope all that is behind you now. And, yes, I'm glad I have my backing on video!!! Happy travels!
Hi Liz, Gary here again! As usual, another great video! You definitely stay calm, that's for sure. Every time we pull our RV someplace, I'm biting my nails. Always waiting for something to break. You handle every situation well and never appear stressed! As I always tell you, keep them videos coming!!
You are such a calm person in these situations...Glad you were able to find answers to all of your searches. Sometimes no one answers the phone! We just left Lake Havasu AZ. Last Monday... Pulling a huge 5th wheel home to Utah before the weather changed throughout the Whole western side of the U S.... Be safe!
I drive that stretch of highway quite often in my Tiffin Open road, as i have family in Tucson and Phoenix, and hometown of Riverside, CA, glad it all worked out for you.😀👍
Liz you are amazing and Beautiful, it's always a pleasure to watch you on your adventure in your RV I use to travel America in a 18 wheeler, stay safe out there Liz!
Hi Liz, you did the best thing you could do in a situation like that. Keep your cool and think out the problem. When we have breakdowns my wife says to me, how can you stay so calm about this? When you get flustered it clouds your thinking and just makes the situation worse. I’m glad everything worked out for you. Safe travels!
This is so true, Warren. You don't want clouded thinking so you have to put your mental state first. Sometimes you don't know when you're not firing on all cylinders though- we've all had times like that! Thanks for coming along with me!
For air brakes, it takes air pressure to disengage the parking brakes (otherwise known as spring brakes). Pulling that parking brake knob does not directly apply the parking brakes like a car. It actually stops the air from reaching the brakes and dumps that pressure. That’s why you hear a swoosh when you pull that knob up. For safety, parking/spring brakes are designed to engage automatically when air pressure gets too low. So in that rest stop had your parking brake knob switch not worked, you could’ve stopped your engine & pumped your brakes to drop the air pressure. As the air pressure dropped below a certain level, the parking brakes would’ve engaged. That level is one of the items you check during an air brake check. A horn will sound and the parking/spring brakes engage at that low air level. You could then have gotten out of the seat and chocked the wheels as a backup… Sorry just saw someone else mentioned this a day ago. But my post explains why. Phoenix is cold & raining too.
Thanks, that first part is very good to know. And yes, doing that air brake safety test that I mentioned did the trick, and was a relief to see it pass the test. Thanks for watching.
On locking your pickup doors while traveling. Try this. Get inside the truck and lock your doors. Then manually unlock your drivers door and get out. Now manually lock the door with your key. This might stop the alarm from being set. Works on my Ram.
Thank you for your calm approach to your daily adventures, and that’s the best way to live your life. I’m a do it yourself and want to know everything and fix everything. We decided to get a motorhome, (your experiences helped) perhaps 19 feet. Keep your reviews up of what you are faced with. It has helped us know what to expect.
Oh Liz, you are so brave. I have a 40 ft 2008 Monoco Diplomat which I am selling cause it scares the crap out of me trying to drive it. I applaud you that's for sure. 👏👏👏
Before I bought this I looked at two 40ft motorhomes and they seemed SOOO long. I don't know, but that 38ft feels so much more doable. Good luck on the sale and thanks for watching.
Hi Liz glad your getting things worked out i know as a commercial driver it is required to have a air brake ticket up here in Canada even with a recreational vehicle as well if I could give some advice you should find a driving school that offers a air brake course it’s usually only 2 days you can learn how everything operates I know your very handy and you may be able to diagnose the problem easier without spending big dollars at a truck shop thanks again great video 😊
If the key is in the ignition it is a safety feature for people like me, so the keys aren't locked in the truck. You should be able to manually lock and unlock without the alarm setting. Love your channel!
Yes. But I have push button start and therefore don't leave my key fob in the truck. I will have to try manually pushing down the lock. Thanks for this, and for watching!
I have a truck camper on my SuperDuty and the movement when inside the camper sets off the alarm. Different issue but probably the same solution. Like the previous post, I manually push down the locks on the passenger doors and then use the actual metal key to lock the driver door from outside, being careful not to wrap my fingers around the inside of the handle and automatically unlock all the doors again! I use the key because the lock on the driver door pops open when I close it. Your truck may be different…. just another hack to try.
Howdy Liz. Thanks for your videos, I tow a Ford Ranger and have found that I have to lock the vehicle prior to turning on the motor home or hooking up the power connection. Yes, I am able to tow it while locked. Hope this helps, Take care.
Wow, sorry to hear about the troubles, but it always seems to work out, which is good. (Not sure if this has been addressed yet), but you can lock the truck with the key on the outside of the door, and that should lock it without the alarm, at least it used to be like that in the day, I know you have a newer truck, but the idea is still valid, lets the truck know you have the key outside the truck.
I don't remember if your truck has the door buttons or not. If it does, press the right two buttons together to lock the doors with the key in. This requires either a second key or knowing your code to unlock the door. If you have 2 keys and not push button start, you can get your code by turning the ignition on for a few seconds with one key and then turn it on with the second key. It will display the code while the second key is on.
I got stuck at a campground dump station. First time at one. Finished dumping and couldn’t get my brake to release. Guy behind me left. I finally yanked the lever up and pushed the button and got it to release.
Keep in mind, I know nothing about motorhomes but you said you couldn’t chock your wheels without the parking brake. I thought that was more of an emergency brake. So you can’t just put it in park like a car? What would have happened if you weren’t able to get it to work? Sorry if this is a silly question. Hope it’s an easy fix.
This is a great question. My motorhome is on a Freightliner chassis (like a commercial truck). There is no Park gear. It's just Drive, Neutral, and Reverse. Without the parking brake, nothing to stop it rolling.
Do you have to leave the key in the truck when you tow it? If so that’s why the locks unlock. You can get what they call a valet key made to operate either your doors or your ignition. Talk to a dealer
No, it is some thing about neutral tow mode. I don’t leave a key in it and the only way I can lock it is to manually push all the locks down. Thanks for watching and commenting Jim.
What a journey, I in March drove my 32' rexhall with my car on the tow dolley from Stillwater to Hammond Louisiana, I was coming home. Let me tell you, yah for all the drivers out their that have had to deal with hills. I really had only one way to go. The back roads, I had to make the trip solo with 2 dogs. I had only driven the rig about 30 miles before and never towed, what an experience that I never want to do again. I didnt have any issues and planned the route and gas stops that worked best. Sleeping in parking lots and behind gas stations didnt bother me at all. I have big issues with bridges over water even in cars, so it was very intimidating and I had to focus so hard to get over the mississippi river bridge. I guess what helped is my driving a school bus way back in the 80's. I set my mind to do it and had no other choice, I had to drive her home. You and all the other women drivers are so brave to tackle such a beast. Good luck.
I just found you on UA-cam, which is good I’m retired. I like to buy diesel pusher older model what do you think? What do you recommend? Please be safe. It’s a crazy world out there now.
Hi Ralph! I’ve heard many good things about Country Coach. The sweet spot years for motorhomes are 2000 to 2007. Looking forward to seeing you out here.
I took it to a chassis shop and they gave it a full inspection. Nothing was found and it never did it again after that day. My guess is that I was so flustered at the gas station I might not have waited for it to air up before putting it in drive. Thanks for watching.
Hi Liz, love your videos. My problem is I have outfitted my 29 ft class C & my Honda Element with all the towing equipment. I did have it professionally installed. However, I'm scared to try to tow it. My son & I went fulltime on 11/22. Sold our house and everything. My son is currently driving the Honda behind the RV. Any good advice on learning to tow my Honda? I can't think of any place where I could go for lessons. We're currently in upstate SC. Any Advice is greatly appreciated.
RV Driving School has instructors all over the nation. Or take it to a big open parking lot and try driving around there. Each time you do that, try to do a little more, such as driving it around the block. Best of luck!
What year is your F150. I leased a 2017. Every thunderstorm or when fireworks or a loud vehicle came but. My alarm would go off. I found that manually locking the doors would work.
1) Our toad needs the key in the ignition, so we never lock it. Our last toad had electronic locks and if we ever towed 2 days in a row, the battery would die and the car wouldn’t unlock without dismantling the handle. 😳 2) The Open Roads app has handy instructions for those times you forget…am I a tractor? Reefer? Both? 3) This last one is my EMS background talking…it’s freaking me out to see you turn your head to the camera! Please consider some sort of dash mount!
Hi there! (1) I am hearing similar things from others. I am grateful that my Ford F150 is setup to be flat towed with ease and I don't have to leave the key on (2) Yes, the instructions were very helpful. What I tripped up on was they had me set a special pin BUT then the gas station would not accept that pin. I learned they wanted a different set of four digit numbers. Super glad they answered the phone on the first ring. (3) Thanks! I don't expect to do many driving videos with my motorhome. Definitely want to stay safe. Thanks for watching!
I live in Riverside if you ever want to come to church while you are here it won’t be like church you’ve ever experienced! You will FEEL the Spirit of God! I see you are in Fontana (Fontucky), are there any campgrounds around there you like? I’m always interested in good places to bring my RV around here. Thanks! PS I hope you post what the cost is to fix it I almost bought a DP but decided to go with Bounder number 4 because of how great they have been! I’m really liking the workhorse chassis with the 8.1 Chevy and the Allison transmission!
Ah! I'd heard of Fontucky years ago but didn't make the connection that it refers to Fontana. What's the name of your church? I"ll make a note of it next time I am in the area. And congrats on your Bounder!
This is why in my opinion people with large rv's should have to have their cdl license. You learn alot about large rigs when you get that, including air brakes.
disconnect the negative terminal and manually lock the doors. If this works, than add a shutoff switch to you negative battery terminal. But, I suggest asking a dealer to be safe.

Wow, three years, that's awesome!!! And exactly that, only travel Monday - Thursdays if you can. Thanks for being here through thick and thin.
Nice, down the street from my house. They’ve done some work on my old rig. Good people and high quality of work. They mostly work on alfas.
Indeed, they do! Glad you know it and thanks for watching Mike.
I love your motorhome. The design and layout is beautiful. We have a Fleetwood Bounder. But love yours so much more. Beautiful
Awww, thank you! Looking forward to seeing you out here, Belinda!
Wow! Way more calmer than I for sure. You handle your rig awesome. Stay safe and warm
Thank you so much, and for moving me closer to 100k!
Great job backing up your beast. Very impressive.
Glad you made it through those glitches ok. 🙏💯
Thanks Monica, glad to have that backing on video!!! See you in the next one.
Good job. Life happens and you are so real. Thank you for your lessons on keeping calm. Have you tried locking up the truck manually. All this new electronics is very trying sometimes. Hopefully someone has the answer to keep the truck safe!
Barbara, that is a great tip. Yes, locking manually seems to be the answer. Thanks for watching and see you in the next video.
I agree. Hindsight gives a lot of better options. Still, those guys are my heroes!
We love overnighting at welcome centers and rest areas when traveling!!💓
They certainly are convenient. Thanks for your comment!
You're simply amazing! We remember those first days with Ms. Coach.
Thanks so much for your support!!! There's definitely a learning curve!
Liz - regarding locking the doors on your F150 that you tow without having the doors unlock or the alarm going off when you hit a bump, try locking the doors manually without using the power door lock nor the key fob:
• Lock the door from the inside by pushing the door lock button manually and then shut the door from the outside.
• Lock the door manually from the outside using the mechanical key in the door lock.
Hope this solves the problem as you can lock the doors mechanically without activating the electronics which arms the security system!
Yes! I think this will work. Thanks so much.
IT SOUNDS LIKE "Murphy" was working overtime on that run. I am glad that you are safe
Yep, it was a challenge. Thanks for watching, Christopher and see you in the next video.
Now THAT is what you call "revising" back! ☺
I was super happy to get in there on the first try! Thanks for watching.
Wow, good job! Next time you do that I'll get my drone out to record it. Thanks for your comment, Michelle!
Glad to see you are OK Liz. I had the same problem with my tow vehicle. What I did was manually lock my doors. Completely unlock both doors then push the lock button down on each door. This will not engage the alarm. Thus my alarm stopped going off at a bump etc. Good luck
Great tip! I will try that. Thanks and happy travels!
Aw, thanks for your kindness, Jeff! Sure glad to have you along for the ride!!!!
No way could I drive that big huge rv. Liz you really are amazing
Thanks! Glad to have you here! See you in the next one.
Great job Liz keeping it all together! I also have driven all over the country and in lots of traffic and weather and being patient and calm is a good key . We are never to old to keep learning ways to fix anything that arises!
Yes, calm is key. Glad you know it! Thanks for watching.
High five lovely reversing.
Well done .
Happy motoring 😊
Yes! High five on the reversing!!! Thanks for watching and see you in the next video.
Hi Liz, Gary here again! As usual, another great video! You definitely stay calm, that's for sure. Every time we pull our RV someplace, I'm biting my nails. Always waiting for something to break. You handle every situation well and never appear stressed! As I always tell you, keep them videos coming!!
I so appreciate your support and cheering me on each week, Gary! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for your kind words.
Several mobile mechanics in Quartzsite, just came home last week to Kingman and 8 inches of snow, Quartzsite weather was mostly good all winter
Yes, other than the wind storms, it was great. Thanks for watching!
Oh dear, hope they get it all worked out. You did GREAT backing that big RV in there Liz 👍🏻
Thank you bunches. I always look forward to your comments each week. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for bringing us along!
Glad to have you with me, thanks Wayne!
Be safe!
Oh goodness, you got out just in time. Lots of wind and rain in that area now. Safe travels to you as well.
I drive that stretch of highway quite often in my Tiffin Open road, as i have family in Tucson and Phoenix, and hometown of Riverside, CA, glad it all worked out for you.😀👍
Glad you know this route! It was congested with construction, but a relatively easy drive. Thanks for watching, and for bringing me closer to 100k!
Liz you are amazing and Beautiful, it's always a pleasure to watch you on your adventure in your RV I use to travel America in a 18 wheeler, stay safe out there Liz!
Thanks for your support and encouragement, Bill! See you in my brand new video which just come out a couple hours ago.
Wow Liz you’re truly amazing! Thankful you had a safe trip!
Thanks so much for traveling with me!
You did do a great job on that backing in the spot.
Thank you! I was super proud of myself. 😊
Thanks for the video. Good to see you're doing well and figuring this all out.
Thanks Carol! Life is an adventure!
Take your time, you did a great job and not rushing and causing more problems. Till next time be safe and be happy. 😊😊😊😊
Thanks so much Larry, really glad to have you here!
Liz! WOW! that was crazy! THAT BACK YOU WAS EPIC!!! You're amazing Liz😁❤
Thanks for the good cheer, Valerie!~ I am just happy I got that on camera. Have a great rest of your weekend!
Great video! Staying put at the rest stop was definitely a good idea. I can imagine the stress of the parking brake not engaging.
Yep, it was not fun at all. Whew! Thanks for being here!
Impressive driving and parking all around Liz
Awww, thanks!!
Way to go Liz! Calmness under pressure! 👍
Thanks for the support you guys!
At least you added fuel to the fuel tank and not the water tank, even under pressure. 👍🎉 It could always be worse, right 😬
For air brakes, it takes air pressure to disengage the parking brakes (otherwise known as spring brakes).
Ooh, I may try this. Thanks Norm!
You are truly Amazing, that backing was amazing, I still have trouble backing up Lol.. 😂
I was super proud of myself. Guess I got lucky that day! Thanks for watching and safe travels.
Thanks so much for your kind words! I'm looking forward to seeing you out here. Thanks for watching.
You seem to take all that in stride. Glad all worked out.
High 5 back at ya!! Fun times!
Thanks Ira, so glad I felt free to take my time and not try to rush to get there. See you in the next video, and thanks for watching.
Thanks for the great video. You are so good at driving that motor home.
Great parking 👍
Thanks so much for your support and kind words! I was really pleased that I got that backing on video~ See you in the next one!
Life on the road…..keeps you on your toes. Good job Liz! Stay safe!
That is does, Ed! Thanks so much for the encouragement!
Hang in there Liz and continue to stay safe. Love watching your videos. God Bless You.
Thanks for being here, sure appreciate your support and encouragement!
I hope you got the coach figured out Liz. You were in our neck of the woods. We live in Highland. Safe travels
Thanks Cindy! Glad to have you along for the ride, and you live in a great area!
Back, just like a trucker!!! Nice work Liz
Awww, thanks Liz! I was feeling pretty proud!
Very good to know. There's always more to learn. Thanks, Corey!
If the key is in the ignition it is a safety feature for people like me, so the keys aren't locked in the truck. You should be able to manually lock and unlock without the alarm setting. Love your channel!
Yes. Don't use the remote or the buttons. Push down the actual lock knob.
Glad you are ok. So clam. You go lad!
Thanks bunches Cathy!
Howdy Liz. Thanks for your videos, I tow a Ford Ranger and have found that I have to lock the vehicle prior to turning on the motor home or hooking up the power connection. Yes, I am able to tow it while locked. Hope this helps, Take care.
Ok, I will try that next time. Thank you!
Way to be flexible and remain calm! Stay safe out there!
Thanks Becky, sure appreciate your support and good cheer!
Glad it all worked out!!!! Stay safe and amazing!!!!
Thank you so very much! Your profile photo matches Ms. Hartels in the comment above you!
Never a dull moment huh ? Am happy you're safe and the problem resolved
Yes, there's always something!!! Glad that I took that extra day to recharge and research. Thanks for being here for the ride!
Oooh, I will have to try that. Thanks Junior!
Girl,,,, God bless you!! I am not an RV-er but holy moly, you make it look real! I guess I will keep living my life through you! lol
Hi Susan, I'm glad to have you along for the ride! Thanks for watching.
I will have to try that. I don’t leave any key in it since it is pushbutton start. But I will try using the keypad to lock it. Thanks for the tip!
Great job on your decision making. Stop, Chill and have a beer and think about it. Looking forward to next video.
Yes, exactly this! Thanks Derek!
I got stuck at a campground dump station. First time at one. Finished dumping and couldn’t get my brake to release. Guy behind me left. I finally yanked the lever up and pushed the button and got it to release.
Oh, that must have been stressful. Glad it worked finally. Thanks for your comment and see you in the next video.
Good job ! We are from the Redlands area now in western Montana . Fontana isn’t really a safe place but not is San Bernardino . Hope all ended well .
Thank you much! Congratulations on living in Montana. I sure love it there!
Come out and visit our ranch here ?
Good luck.
That is so awesome that you pushed through fear to do this! I am sure you feel better for having had this experience under your belt. Congratulations!
Everytime you get behind that wheel, you should be performing the air brake test. Stay safe and keep on traveling!
Really? That's good to know. I definitely wait for it to air up and watch the gauges. Thanks for watching.
I drive a 40ft city bus for a living and this is part of our pre-trip. You did a great job backing up! Its rather easy
@@seemcee Thank you!! And noted about the air brake test!
Just curious, what ended up being wrong with the parking brake?
You really are amazing, Liz.
You are so kind Sandra, thanks for watching!!
What year is your F150. I leased a 2017. Every thunderstorm or when fireworks or a loud vehicle came but. My alarm would go off. I found that manually locking the doors would work.
Yes, that’s a good idea. I think manually pushing down the locks might work. Thanks for the tip. Mine is a 2018. And thanks for watching.
1) Our toad needs the key in the ignition, so we never lock it. Our last toad had electronic locks and if we ever towed 2 days in a row, the battery would die and the car wouldn’t unlock without dismantling the handle. 😳
2) The Open Roads app has handy instructions for those times you forget…am I a tractor? Reefer?
Yes, that's a good point. Thank you.
I drive truck for a living and I say you did a great job back in that bus
Yay! Thank you, I was pretty proud of myself! Thanks for watching and see you in the next video.
disconnect the negative terminal and manually lock the doors. If this works, than add a shutoff switch to you negative battery terminal. But, I suggest asking a dealer to be safe.
Yeah, I'd be afraid to do that. I think it will work if I go around and manually lock the doors. Thanks for the tip!
