Thank you for these videos. I learn so much from you. However I'm trying to watch the video and distracted by your super awesome work space. Drooling over here. :)
Well I got mine and just loved the new flexible templet! But then before watching this video I jumped right on the project. It came out pretty good but this video showed me how many times I messed it up from being perfect. My next one will be top notch!!
I think the new template material is a pretty good comprimize. I think I will likely use a ruler as a better blade guide with these which wasn't needed with the acrylic, but these have their pluses as well.
I got a navy blue and dark brown colors. Its beautiful. I cant wait to put it together but ill be honest, i have 3 other mystery boxes setti g on the shelf still waiting to be put together. Case of never have time to make yourself anything, just customers
Nice! Thanks for sharing Aaron. You mentioned that these sell like hotcakes with the right marketing. I'm just starting out and would love to see a beginner marketing video.
Where did you get your watch clasp from? I have my alligator and just got you templates but cant find that style clasp anywhere. I may just use the hardware from the factory band though.
They are 1 inch wide by however long you want to make them. In the video I explained that everyone is different in how they might like to carry a bag like this.
this came out awesome. so you say it is possible to build these bags using a stitching pony and hand stitching? i want to buy this template and get into making these, but i do not have a sewing machine, only a stitching pony. lol. another great video.
@@CJFattig on a stitching pony? I was just wondering if it was too big to fit in the stitching pony to hand stitch. Glad that it isn't. I will be ordering the new templates.
Nice , thanks for sharing Aaron , I'm going to have to get one from you , I get a shit load of scrap canvas from a friend and I'm going to start making your totes with all this material I'm getting ! I'll be calling you soon .reddoc leathers.Thank you again !
Glade to see the new plastic template for the tote bag. I went on your web page and I could only find the paper template for the two tone bag 😢 I’ll keep checking back

Can't wait for mine! Supposed to be here Monday🥰🥰🥰 love this tote!
What is the finished size of the bag. Can’t find that info on the webpage. Thank you. 😊
Just finished my first tote from this pattern! Looks great! I just need to make the straps… and rivet them in🙂
Those templates will be awesome! And thanks for skiving mine😂
What is the handle length?
Hello I had a question on the handles. What is the Length on the handles typically. Thank you! I really like the Flexible template.
24" is pretty good for a stock size. However I have learned that handle length varies depending on who's carrying the bag.
@@makersleathersupply1220 Thank you
What leather is the strap leather for the bag I just finished my first one I love it!
Super cool looking
The new template material is a winner!

Great video Can’t wait to build one! Will you be making a video for the duffel bag project we made in class at the Prescott show?
Do you have a link or description of the bottom leather? Thanks!
It's just a brown oil tan. Here is a good one:

I did it with all hand stitching.

@@dannymarkgraf34 Well...I made it fit. And the folded seam where the bottom attaches to the sides definitely won't go in a pony.
Now! That is a great ideas. Glad to see you are the first with that idea 😊
What size thread are you using?
He said 138 and size 20 needle
Did I miss the completion of the lux bag , I looked and part 3 was all I saw. Just wondered how it turned out.
It is an amazing ongoing series still. Working on the next video now.
@@makersleathersupply1220 appreciate that , liked the way it was going and thought I’d missed a video. Always enjoy your videos .
Mr. Heizer if I lived near you I'd be your camera man for store credit. Lol. Great build thank you. Can you tell me the name of the top leather?
It is an embossed sanded leather. There’s a very few of them left on the site.
Love this!!!!!

The Lux bag looking awfulll lonely in the background lol. New templates are awesome.
It’s in the works.
I get so many compliments on these totes. That ugly leather they sent me sold first😂
Ugly leather turns pretty when it's a well built project. Ha ha ha
You could put an eye out clipping those rivets off LOL
The thick ones pop off and fly across the room. We count how many surfaces they bounce off of before they stop.
