That's just how BB have started and will always be their thing. I am so happy that this album returned to how they used to be unlike the earlier "Softer" one.

Final Beta Psycho is the best Bro
I think all of the songs on the album are great, but my least favorite are for sure Psycho and Down. Psycho just has a chorus way too similar to Never Again (compare "psycho, let go" to "time will not take the life from me"- it's basically the same thing), and Down, although it has a great riff and I love the end, is just not the most memorable. I'd say my personal favorites are Tourniquete, Blood, Dark Of You, Save Yourself, and maybe Close Your Eyes? That one's still growing on me, haha.
Johan Magaña Psycho is probably my least favorite. The transition from dark and heavy verse into Disney channel Great Divide chorus just isn't doing it for me. The instrumental is great though. Love the riffs.

This song is so fucking badass! By far the most underrated song on the album. Such a sick intro, chorus, crazy riffs and Bens rough growling vocals make this song soooo damn good!
Love how yhe lyrics go back and forth from loving to hateful, grateful to emotionally drained. And Ben's voice sounds genuine at times and vulnerable and then to pure disdain and anger. The instrumentation compliments it well too. Very well done. Sounds basic on the surface but its really deep in actuality
This is the best rock/metal album of the last few years! Insane material, great job guys!

Best song by far IMO. And best rock/metal song of 2018 so far.
actually had the same top 2, just coudlnt figure out which one i like more, imo torn in two is a better song, more varied and balanced, more paced as well but I guess it also comes down to taste and since i just love that screaming chorus, ths is probably imo the best one

T Tana *I just seen them in January with Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet for my Valentine! It was an amazing show! They sound exactly like they do on the albums! Yeah they add a little here and there, but there are no suprises with Breaking Benjamin! Ben actually pulled the kids in the audience on stage. And I'm not talking "kids" to us... I'm talking kids under say 12! Because he knows they are our future of music! If you ever have the ability to go see them live you should.... definitely! They are touring with FFDP and I am seeing them the day before my birthday 🤣🤣🤣🤣! What are the chances I can get them to sing Happy birthday to me? That would be the best way to rock in these terrible 40's I'm approaching 😱 But really, make your life complete and see Breaking Benjamin live! You won't regret it 😉
Jen Smrekar are you kidding me ! that concert you're talking about is like 30 minutes away from me. my daughter and nephew and son-in-law went to it I watched it on UA-cam :) friends of mine took me to see them for my 33rd birthday and Wilkes-Barre Scranton. they were awesome but not as good as now. he was dealing with his drinking the problem then. Jim this is so awesome to hear another Breaking Benjamin fan talk about them such as I think of them. ;) I am truly happy for you and please 40 is not bad. :) we have a lot of time left. and these guys just fire me up like age means nothing. Unfortunately I never get to hear masterpieces like this. Around here the only FM radio is pop, country, rap, and the ONLY rock around is the same 7 Classic Rock songs on repeat.
Every time they release a new song, it sounds better and better each time. I don't think I could ever be disappointed by anything these guys come out with. Excited for the album!

This whole album is pretty much a masterpiece each song even tho has the same sound it has different patterns, tempos, vocal approaches, but it blends so well even on vinyl it's even better bc each song transitions perfectly like cutting through butter with a knife

I'm a lead guitar player and my biggest problem as a songwriter is everything ends up sounding complicated as FUCK! I really like how Ben takes simple melodies and makes them stick in your head and uses atmosphere to drive alot of the music. Wish I could do that. Also this is my new favorite track 😀
I know this comment is 3 years old but I play rhythm guitar in my band and I keep telling my lead guitarist to stop overcomplicating things, because, sure being extravagant is nice but simple writing is good too, there’s so much you can do and build around with simple stuff and BB is one great example !

Just wondering why bb is so underrated now a days. I remember years ago when this band was played on the radio every half hour. Now there played once a day. BB still has the music and vocals. They are underrated. The deserve more.
No idea if it's intended or not, but the imagery of the flames in the iris has so much more significant value when you consider all the way back in 'Breath,' Ben is having an argument/discussion with himself, and he says, "I know that I can find the fire in your eyes." To me, anyway, that always came across as him telling himself that he knows deep within there's a hope and a will to live, albeit suppressed and faint, and that he knows it can bring him victory over his afflictions. And years later, we have a beautiful new album, a vibrant tour life, and it just feels like Ben is at long last seizing what I can only hope is joy and peace with his own two hands. He found the embers he was looking for, and the flame is rising.
I got high and listened to this for the first time with headphones on... It was the best decision ever oh god. The definition of eargasm. Now proudly my favorite song from this album
