Also your videos are helping me get ready for starting University next year but in Australia so thanks for allowing me to watch and get rid of some nerves I have a learning difficulty so watching youtube is helping my nerves
Love watching your video’s Anna! I’m also a second year medical student, but in Belgium (Leuven) so it’s really cool en interesting to see all the differences between med school in the UK and in Belgium. Enjoy Dubai! I’m looking forward to see your vlog! 😊xx
Yes, there are quite some differences. Our Eastern break is only 2 weeks so I’m already going back to med school tomorrow. Then we have lectures till the 20th of may and then exams till 30th of june. Also our GP placement is different. Last term we had to go every day (8h-18h) for a week to the same practice so we could have a feeling how it’s like to work as a GP and to practice our skills like drawing blood, measuring blood pressure, auscultation of heart and lungs… But the order in which the subject matter is divided over the years is relatively the same. This term I have neurosciences (so everything of neuroanatomy, neuro physiology, neuro embryology and the senses), radiology, topographical anatomy, psychology, and immunology
But maybe the biggest differences is that we have to study for 6 years instead of 5 and that studying in Belgium is (almost) free! Plus you have to get through an entrance exam where only 1200 people with the best scores can begin with medicine (of the 6000 people who participated). Xx
Amazing vlog! Loving it and saw your instagram about Dubai. Looked amazing! Hope to see a day of back to uni revision in Easter. Finding it hard to get back into it over easter
Your videos are the most useful ones I ever watch and you just seem so sweet. Can't wait to join uni in September. Quick question that's very random, when you make your overnight oats, do you eat them cold or do you heat them up after coming out the fridge?

Hi Anna! You seem to use your MacBook more than your iPad when studying. Would you say it’s better to have a Mac than an iPad for med school ??
