Hi, love your videos! I'm going into fourth year and know a couple of people who do youtube and stuff, and you're kinda right to be stressed about confidentiality, you've gotta be so careful. I'd advise basically only filming in areas meant for students, like your common room or whatever, with students who've agreed to it. If you're completely on your own and there's no confidential information around that's probably alright too, but even like in corridors you've gotta be careful because patients could be seen, or in staff rooms and offices there might be confidential stuff on the walls. And then just make sure any experiences you talk about are completely anonymised. Good luck on placement though, it's so much better than pre-clinical xxx
Loved this!! Good luck Anna 💙 clinical years are very very different to pre-clinical but it's nice to have a change and feel a bit more like a proper adult haha. My main advice would be not to put too much pressure on yourself in the early clinical years, it's all about getting to know the hospital, how it works, and you'll be surprised how much you just passively pick up from being there. I'd also say to be proactive, and offer to do jobs if you feel comfortable xxx
Thanks for the fun video! It would be interesting to hear your comments on how your adjusted / new study methods helped you this past year, and what style or study method you will be using during your placement periods.
See an Anna vlog - click on it immediately! It would be wonderful to follow you through your placements, if allowed. Love that you take us along with you, it's an amazing insight - thanx so much x
As another mentioned, be respectful and careful with confidentiality and the ethics in fliming in a hosptial/clinical setting. Best of luck for your clinical years! From a UBham alum. Lovely to see Harborne too.
