I started cross stitching with my mom on the late 70s thru mid 80s and took a lonnng break and started again during covid. My mom was a cross stitcher and quilter and we enjoyed sharing those hobbies until she went to heaven on Christmas day. 6,7,8,9.
I made one xstitch when I was 11 in 1994...and then picked it up again a few years ago on a fluke when I found your channel and the rest is history! I also want to say that the person who asked about "why" Chelsea isn't breastfeeding is incredibly rude and has a skewed sense of entitlement to even think that thats an appropriate question! UGH... I was cross-stitching in the 1980s when my girls were very little. Then around 2006 I began scrapbooking and everything else went to the side. IT's been about 3 or 4 years now and I am obsessed with stitching once again. It is so much fun. I regret ever stopping!! 1,3,5,7,9

I started stitching durumg the eary 80s, stitched for several years then took a break while working and raising children. Started back in 2013 when my husband passed away. Stitching gave me comfort and helped fill my days. So much changed during the time i took off. The fabric and floss choices, all the amazing patterns that are offered . Simply love it all. Zinnia is growing so fast, such a precious baby, love seeing the puctures of her and Cash ❤️

I started cross stitching back in the 1980's. I cross stitched a little in the 1990's but was busy with 4 children (three were a set of triplets) and I worked as a teacher associate at our local elementary school as my children attended there. I have returned to cross stitching since retiring in 2021. I discovered floss tube last summer. What a game changer that has been. I am also a quilter. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9

I taught myself to cross stitch when I was about 12 yrs old; and have been going strong for the past 47 years! Although I have many handwork hobbies including quilting, crocheting, punch needle, and Redwork embroidery; cross stitch has always been my main passion and is how I de-stress. When I found your channel on flosstube way back when I really fueled my passion and found so many new ways to decorate using my stitching rather than just putting it in a frame. I love having my items displayed all throughout my home in so many different ways!

1, 2, 7, 9. I started stitching in the ‘80s when my girls were tiny. Then when they were all in school I went back to work full time. The stitching fell away. I retired in 2013 but took it up again during Covid and haven’t looked back. I’m addicted. Thanks for sharing. ❤

Learned embroidery as a young child & stitched thru teenage years. Learnrd to knit in 1968 my senior year of high school knitting many baby blankets, sweaters, caps & booties & a smock from 17 Magazine for my sister & sweaters for my sons. Started cross stitching in late 70's when it was hot again with log cabins, ducks & bears. Have stitched on & off since then & started peyote beading. Covid & floss tube got me back into stitching much more again, so now I bead, cross stitch, crochet & knit. #3,7

My Great grandmother gave me a printed piece called “The Pledge of Allegiance “ when I was ten. The stitches were cross stitches. Around the 1980’s I started stitching charts for cross stitch. Now it is so much fun to stitch your awesome designs. 1

I stitched for a couple of years in the 90's. I even taught an after school cross stitch class in my girls' middle school. The kids really loved it. Oh my…. My grandmother got me started with stamped embroidery about 60 years ago. I did a lot of pillow cases and dresser scraps in my day. I started cross stitching in the 1970 and then took a few years off and started back up about 5 years ago. I found P & C patterns the best and stitched several of theirs. I have a lot stitch now to get some fully finished. 2, 6, 7

6, 7 I started cross stitching in 1977 but took a break in the mid 90's. I have rekindled the passion over the last 10 years but haven't done consistent stitching until this past year and a hallf. It has become an addiction and I have challenged myself with different fabrics and stitch counts. Watching your floss tubes every Saturday has been a great way to start my Saturdays!

I stitched about 25 years ago but stopped when my kids came along. I've now been back stitching again for 4 years (one of the good things that came from the pandemic]. It's so great now with all the different fabrics, threads, patterns etc that just weren't around when I was stitching first time around. 7
