@@INFINITIBROTHERS awesome 🙂
So there is enough of place in 370z for bit bigger transmission, that's really good news
As per your videos any year of transmission from VR30ddtt will work for this? As I've seen different part numbers and was bit confused which of them is actually right
Thank you once again
@@Charles-yp1bq as long as you're 370 is 7AT you will definitely need a shorter drive shaft which is the one piece of aluminum
@@INFINITIBROTHERS will need to find some local shop for this
As we don't have so many nice Z/G dedicated shops here in Europe
Oh you're in Europe! Cheers! As long as you can get a vehicle transmission in your hands with an aftermarket polyurethane mount and one piece shortened drive shaft. Everything is basically plug & Play!
Does it have to be from a red sport or can it be from a silver sport or base 3.0tt? Whats the differences?
There is no difference as long as it's 3.0 twin turbo 🙏🤙
@@INFINITIBROTHERS omg thank you man you have no idea. I was so worried i bought the wrong trans😂😰
@@joshmesser1165 😁🤙🙏🙌
Why did yuh cut out bell hoisin?
Because the crank position sensor is located in a different spot on the VR
Hey dudes I have a G35s and the Transsmission just went up on me , it’s has the 35hr but would I be able to put a 37vhr Transsmission on it , seeing as tho u guys just swapped the vr30 trans on the 37vhr
Honestly I think it's different but even if it did bolt up you would have to use your TCM and it will still only shift up to 5 gears. I think. There's only one way to find out! 😎🤙
Infiniti Brothers can’t you reprogram the TCM as well ?
Yes I hear that you can but I don't have any experience in that all I know is that my tune does not have anything to do with the TCM
Infiniti Brothers actually watching the video as we speak
I can learn something new today thanks to you my man
How do you find what size driveshaft you need and where do you buy it?
You can purchase on Teambeefcakeracing.com
7at Coupe aluminum DS from DDS
Cheapest I found. The DS is shorter than stock. U only need it 1/2 shorter to work. OR u can have a local shop cut your original DS. I highly recommend and 1 piece DS tho..
Thank you for the great info and if I buy the DS from beefcakeracing does it come to size or does it still need to be cut?
@@jjgonzalez7594 it's shorter so won't need to cut. 🙌🙏🤙
hey bro, i have a 2014 3.7 q50, can you tell me what’s everything ima need for this swap? from the flex plate to the driveshaft and all of that please? and would this be a good swap before adding bolt ons, (test pipes, custom exhaust, etc?) and will i need a tune after or will the car run fine after the swap?
watch the videos foo
@@James-wg8mn nah foo
What is the exact name of the sensor that is down there? I want to replace it when I do the swap just to be safe.
Crankshaft position sensor
@@INFINITIBROTHERS and should I replace the camshaft sensor as well?
@@Venom-ct8yy no . Not unless u are getting a code
@@INFINITIBROTHERS appreciate it, still waiting on the coupe driveshaft from beefcake racing , then I will be able to install and get tuned by martin.
@@Venom-ct8yy 🔥🔥🔥👌🙌🤙🙏
Also how many kms did the new transmission have on it
Bro I have a 2008 g37 coupe, will a 2015q60 3.7 motor will work?
Honestly I'm not sure. Only way to find out is to change your ECU to newer G37 and use real G37 TCM 🤙🤷
Infiniti Brothers or maybe a 2012-2014 motor
I mean it’s the same 3.7 motor
Great video, would you guys be interested in a Collab?
how can u tell the year and if u have a redsport transmission on the side plate ?
Silver sport red sport are the same. As long as its a 3.0t they are exact the same. Mine came off a Red sport. I checked the carfax from the vin.
@@INFINITIBROTHERS where can I find the vin on the transmission to look up the year without taking out the valve body?
@@Venom-ct8yy there should be an imprint underneath or at the back. I forget. But to confirm it can see that date on the solenoid when you exchange tcm
@@INFINITIBROTHERS I was going to have the shop I bought the transmission from do the swap, I didn’t want to take off the valve body to check the year, they said it was off a 2021 with only 6k miles, I wanted to make sure it was what they said it was.
@@INFINITIBROTHERS I’m pretty sure I got a 2018 transmission instead 😓
Hey bro, Can you post your fb name on here? I did my VR swap and I’m having some problems. I’m hoping you can answer some questions so I can try to figure it out. Would be highly appreciated!
Hey what's up man I'm sorry that you have to go thru that. email me and I'll shoot you my number. I don't have social media.
will this work on my 2008 g35s?
What happens if you don't swap out the valve body from the Q and try running it as it is?
It won't shift
@@INFINITIBROTHERS oh damn haha. That's kind of important 😂
When you did this swap, what driveshaft did you buy?
Months ago now. DSS
@@INFINITIBROTHERS do remember the part number? I just want to make sure I get the correct length.
Where did you order your vr from??
eBay mah man🤙
Could the swap be done in one day?
Yes🤙
how much would you charge to do this swap?
I'm sorry unfortunately I don't work on anyone's cars.. 🙏🤙 I'll guide you through it though
@@INFINITIBROTHERS thanks brother. your video is already a life saver. my shop was about to do it for me and then they burned down and have shut down. and can’t find anyone else willing to try to do it sadly. once i get free time i’m going to try to tackle it myself thanks to you!
I will guide you through it! You can hit me up on Instagram if you like 🤙🙏
What’s the deal for the trans🫠
What was the total cost of this bro?
At this time it cost me just under 1k my VR transmission had under 20k miles 🤙🙏
this is for a rwd trans and not awd correct?
You can do the same thing with the all-wheel drive model from the VR engine. Same process
@@INFINITIBROTHERS I've actually looked into this a good deal since watching your video. I have a 15 Q50 AWD with the Vq and very interested in the swap. I have cross referenced the drive shaft and for my 15 Vq and the 16+ Vr trans, the awd have the same part number. I believe i can just order the new trans support and it'll bolt right up. Only issue I see is that the front drive shaft has different part numbers for the 15 and 16+ so thats where I'm stuck at currently.
@@geeteedan did you wind up finding out what difference there is with the front drive shaft?
@@verefiedxL it's the same. The 14 and 15 awd trans has a larger case extention on the transmission. The 16+ vr trans is overall longer but the case extention is shorter so it's the same distance from the transfer case and the front axle. Can reuse that so just need the 16+ awd trans and then the spacer for the rear driveshaft.
@@geeteedan thank you
Boom 😂
Cost to drop my g off to you 🤣😂🤣
Yoooooo bro can you do some work on mine
Yea Man 👐 what you need tho? Depends. M limited on space RN
Like that trans swap and doing my turbo set up. I heard that a 5speed auto trans was strong too
no impacked. u were
What the hell is that

What is so funny in my man? LOL
