After several years of using this great tractor we are upgrading our sprayer and will no longer need her. The rockshaft cover had broken and the rear main seal leaked. In order to fix these we had to pull the cab and split the tractor in half. Being this far into the project it only made sense to put on fresh paint.

So nice
Someone was telling me the other day that Welker farms was the best thing on UA-cam.
Sorry but I can't agree.
Welker Farms is the best thing on the Internet !
Stunning as always Nick !
Thanks Mr Muck! Glad you enjoy them so much:)
Ha ha ha, That's Lord Muck bud, he's a pretty big deal in the UK farming world.... just saying. and yes Welker Farms projects are incredible.
My grandpa bought a brand new 1987 case 7140 right when these tractors released. He ran it hard with no major repairs required until the transmission needed replaced at 25000 hours, but he sadly had to scrap it as the transmission replacement cost more than the tractor was worth. He still owns and operates many of these magnums on the farm today.
I'm a independent Ag mechanic in the Interior of British Columbia. I love fixing the old gear. Ranchers are opting to fix their paid for equipment rather than buy new. Keep up the great work !!!!!
Beautiful work gentlemen! I’ve worked on Caseih for 30 years. I remember when the 8900 series was brand new! The old 7100 series through 8900 series best tractors ever built! 👊🏼💯
Seems like I always find a UA-cam video to serve as a guide to any project I need to do. You guys are the UA-cam channel that sets the bar for everyone else. Pretty sure there is no video guide to show you guys what you need to do on any given day. Your wrenching skills are amazing and I truly enjoy watching you get stuff done. 17/10.
Thank you!
Beautiful job fellas. She's shining like the day she rolled off the assembly line. Those 8000 series magnums are one of my favorite tractors.
ih1206 ?!!?
I like the older magnums like the 7100,7200,8900 series and I like the 86 series, 66 series.
7100’s will always be the best in my mind. #7130/7140
The T114 God 7140s we’re set hot from the factory. Good machines
ih1206
I’ve used both a ‘91 7140 and a ‘93 7130. Both are absolute workhorses
Makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up as she rolls out like NEW with that music playing. Wonderful job Fellas . You should be very proud of you work. 👍
+1 for the shop dogs approval -1 for no dog in credits. Thanks for sharing the rebuild, most people will never understand how versatile and talented you guys need to be.
+JAKimmet haha always forget the dogs!
We have a beef cattle operation and a custom hay baling operation in Louisiana. I have been involved in agriculture all of my life. I really enjoy your page. There are two things that really impress me about your operation, your work ethic and most of all your Christianity. Thanks guys!!
I've been following you guys since not long after your first big bud repower and restoration and followed this when it happened. I was inspired to take a second look after your post today and was not disapointed! Your second big bud makeover remains my favorite video but I enjoy your content weekly. 👍
Thanks for sticking with us all these years!!
Beautiful tractor, we have an Ford 8870 in mint condition - tractors from that era are still some of the best looking machines.
it's nice to see ppl taking time to redo tractors. I'm a farmer myself born and raised on small dairy farm my grandpa bought and my dad took over and a couple yrs ago sold the farm and equipment and gave my sister 50 acres and i got nothing and I put my life there. but oh well. at least what equipment I buy I know it's mine and no one can take it. and I can fix it up and restore it to it's original condition
We hear that story often! The transferring of farms from generation to generation is very tricky!
Nice job! My wife is from Montana, we like your channel! Great Bible verse at the end of the video.
+Christian Reeves Thank you!
8940 are one of the best tractors Case ever made. Change my mind! Great work guys!
Wow, I'm lost for words, your father is definitely proud of you two young men.
Love those time lapse rebuilds...Just beautiful! Gotta love a big Corn Binder
Congratulations! Of all the wonderful videos you guys make and you (apparently) edit, this time lapse is a freaking GEM! We not only got to see the amazing amount of really technical work you guys have to be able to do, but the simply AMAZING teamwork that your family and help you so aptly demonstrated in this video. Congrats again on a simply excellent vlog! I don't know if or how 'Tube makes awards, but you should be in the running.
I think you guys are amazing and like how you fix your own equipment and how nick and leg arms are such a good team together it’s hard to find people like that keep up all that you guys do
I think it’s really neat you guys restore your own equipment, rather than just upgrading, doing the work yourselfs , you know what your finished product is
Thanks Nick. I really like the time-lapse videos of your projects.
That's going to make someone a beautiful looking workhorse. Thanks for making the time to work on it the way you guys did.
Great how you guys dig in and get it done. Repairing old over new, well and new toys of course!
Great job guys,I'm sure it wasn't an easy job but she turned out beautifully. The 8000 series tractors are my favorite series. Worked on a farm that had a 8950 as its primary big tractor, loved that tractor she was a beast.
My jaw literally dropped when that machine pulled out of the shop!! Very nice!!!!
The Magnum is just a great looking tractor to start with but you make it look beautiful. The best part however is the verse from Joshua at the end. I needed that. My Dad had a 1989 7110 on his dairy farm in Vermont. He traded a 4 wd 1086 in with 4200 hrs on it. Paid $30000 to boot. I had never so much fun spreading 400 loads of cow manure that spring. I know that you know that these Earlier Magnum are very popular and should bring a great price for you.
+Adriaan Verburg Thank you and merry Christmas!
Wow that take some real skills how to take apart a tractor take off the cabs put the thing in 2 and replace one thing, put it back together get a Fresh coat of paint and it runs. Props to you guys.
Great Job ! That tractor looks good enough to drive to church on Sunday !
Wow, incredible time lapse, i'm sure it was a lot of work to edit this, so thanks for the hard work you put into these awesome videos! amazing
Love the old magnum 🥹
I repainted a 42" mower deck... as always, thanks for the great video, and I look forward to the next one!
Brilliant video. Now we know how much work was involved in this restoration.
+fergie35X there's definitely some things I did make the video and some that did not. But overall it gives you a good idea of what went down:-)
Nick, you are a master of video and your team is just as good at these tractor restorations. thanks for sharing with us. a solid well done to each member and their contribution.
Thank you for restoring one of my favorite tractors of all time!

Wow! Great job guys! She looks like a new one and probably operates like a new one!! Too bad you have to let her go after all that work.
That was great, thanks Nick. I was hesitating to watch the long version till later this winter. lol
The XXXX Magnums were proof that the CIH merger would work & would be viable competitor to JD. They are one of the best tractors to be painted IH red.
Probably the best. They have such a long lifespan despite being electronic
Awesome job Nick and Scott and Robert.
Great vid Nick, you are all clearly very talented, but your skill in putting these vids together is second to none! my favourite part is when the time laps footage slowly moves along the floor as you are all working in fast forward. super ex!
Thank you!
nice to see some real american people in the Montana countryside to take prided and restore old machinery to keep there legacy going
Great video and work as always. The rise and fall of the farmer half moon at 1:00 was very quick. 🤣
That was just amazing you guys really got that one right I bet she sold for nice dime I keep rolling back through some old builds and like all the stuff you guys do thanks a lot.
Dont let it get out that you guys are great at restorations and repairs - or we'll never see another plowing & planting & harvesting video. :)
I'm even a die hard JD man, and thought this was very very cool. I am impressed!
you do great jobs both rebuilding the equipment and video. Thank you
