Could my starter be the reason my Nissan Altima 2006 isn't receiving power or lights after I already replaced the alternator and new battery?

Just gotta say, youre timing is insane. Starter went out today. You have saved me nearly $1000 in labor costs to date. Thank you for all you do. There arent many comments here but I know thousands of people (especially low income) could not be more thankful for such an amazing teacher on youtube while we tinker and learn about our cars.

This was hairy for me because I didn't have the right extension. Mine were too long or too short. 6inch would've been perfect. Overall not a bad repair at all, but I could not have done it without your video. It covered all the necessary parts and you saved me some hassle by stating which size sockets I would need for each bolt. Thank you!

This is the best instructional video for changing a Nissan X trail T30 Automatic trans starter Motor. Thanks heaps would give 10 thumbs up if I could :) Took me 1.5 days to sort out. Can Confirm the same tools work (17mm Bolts etc.). You just need to remove the whole Air filter Box and unfasten the wire from throttle Body and other hook ups. No need to get under Car. Same part works. Thanks so much for vid ended up gettin a new part in for $300AU (including $80 worth of tools (breaker bar etc.)). Pixked up new starter from Repco on the spot for $211. All up saves me $600 Au easy :) cheerz big Earz

All good, only 1 small tiny suggestion, grab a tiny little piece of 120 grit sandpaper and sand the positive wire connection terminal at the starter side, it seemed very dirty and rusty so a little sandpaper would have left it shiny and ready for a nice flow.

The video was very detailed and helpful. I changed the starter in 1.5 hours. The bottom bolt gave me a difficult time. I chose to remove the battery completely because it was in the way. But 1A Auto as always provides detailed instructions. Car is back on the road and saved 150.00. Mechanic wanted 300. But i paid 149.99 at advance auto plus 12.00 core. Would have bought from 1A but it was a have to have now part. 😔. Thanks 1A
