They get money from ipl and experience of different conditions can be gained by touring for bilateral series and if they want some more experience they can move early for series to adjust to conditions.

There is no upside of Indian players playing in the other leagues. What it would do is, it would devalue the IPL by taking away the novelty. Once upon a time 1-2 indians would have made the Aussie 11. I’m thinking Tendulkar, Dravid. Now it’s flipped. India is by far a bigger challenge and who we are chasing. Annnnd the Indian people still enjoy cricket. They love good cricket. England seemingly hate cricket but like England winning.
Ty god Deepdas is not in any management role as he take decision in emotionally not logical . I would prefer Jarod who is logical .
Simple nobody would like to play for 100k when he can get 800k staying at home . Kevin didn’t only came for exposure he came first money too . Sehwag has answered this beautifully though he sounded arrogant . But he was right . The amount of money in IPL contract is one thing , player get per match fees , even a youngster who get contracted for $24k. Can earn $120k if he play all 14 games in IPL .
Deep need to be little logical why somebody play franchise to get $50k $60k when u can get in ur home .
Indian players shouldn't bother playing poor county leagues like Bash, CPL etc
Just Indian protectionism. I get it but the league relies on the star power of overseas players as much as locals to be successful, and to build the strength of the national team. Feels morally wrong to not reciprocate. In any other business this would be considered a restraint of trade.
No one is forcing them to play IPL.. Foreigners can keep playing their own T20 tournaments.. IPL is Massive because of our Own Indian 🇮🇳Superstars.. If Aust, Eng players were that big then their Big Bash, Hundred would not be running in to losses..
@@viansingh1825 give me a break. The IPL would not be anywhere near as big without star international players and would not get any attention outside of India, Of course no one is forcing them, the money is too attractive but it comes with caveats that hurt other nations! Perhaps if the best Indian players played in the BBL or 100 they wouldn’t be running at losses!! But no, we can’t have that!
@@viansingh1825IPL would be SMAT without international cricketers. Are you for real?

agree with ddg here, india should let players out of top 40 to play in other conditions.

In my opinion, bcci will not let their player play other leagues. Think about this, there is a lot of controversy going on with sanju samsons selection. If bcci let him or others like him play in other leagues, it will be very difficult to control players. And player even think abt early retiremnt from international crickt and concentrate on league cricket
Players are adults first and foremost. Let them decide what they want to do for themselves
Does messi and Ronaldo play for any other league when they are contracted with their respective clubs.
On the contrary ipl should make it binding for all players to choose ipl or any league.if they are sold at a million dollars and above then even the overseas players should not be allowed to play in any other league.
It should be in the contract.
Comparing football with cricket 😂😂😂
Non of indian winning matches get views 99 % percent of views are from ind ,pak , and ban 1% from aus ,sa and eng 😂
This sport is restricted 😂
Football tournaments last for longer and the leagues compete against each other atleast in Europe. Not even close to the same thing
Therefore no international players should play in the IPL
@@neilgannon205 we are not begging them to come and play , if they don't want money they won't come
Football is all about league
There is no bileteral series in football 😅😂
Where is the time to play other league's?
Other than during IPL time period rest all of the time international series are happening?
why should indian players be playing outside of ipl at the first place? its ansurd.
We should protect our national side players, they should only play IPL as of now and national side that's it. Don't see a requirement for them to play other leagues in terms of money or experience of conditions. They get money from ipl and experience of different conditions can be gained by touring for bilateral series and if they want some more experience they can move early for series to adjust to conditions.
We dont want our players and system to become like that of Pakistanis and WI..👎 Only Playing for money and less committed for their national Side.
No way!! Our Players should only play IPL and domestic..We don't want our Cricket to become like that of Pakistanis and West Indies.. 👎👎
Or you could have just said you don't want adult Indian cricketers to be treated like adults
I must say, (2nd time)...DDG's analysis is far better than the commentary he does.
Does it mean india lacks too many talented players, so india restricts talent going outside. Look at aussies, they don't keep talent hostage, as steve smith maintained consistency in test /ashes even after playing ipl in india🎉🎉
A one sime formula can be serived ...suppose 1000 player. Are rher foe ipl thwn out of that some percentage avilable for other tiurnamnet lets say 30 % for that year and lets rotate next year for other 60 percent .make a lottery system by which a fixed percnetage of player will be avilable each year
Retired Indian cricketers should only be allowed to play other leagues.
No coz that will be the death of Indian cricket. Players will focus only on T20 leagues all around the world and not give priority to first class cricket which produces quality cricketers. Just look at the current state of WI & Pak cricket for allowing their players to participate in various leagues.
So they are trying to say... Aus never won anything before legue cricket.. after playing around the world they only won 1 t20 world.. i know england won 2 t20 world cup one odi... But what about other teams whose player play all around the world.. they won something nothing...
Bro 99.5 % viewer of cricket are from indian, pakistan, Bangladesh and sri lanka 0.5 % cricket viewers are from Australia, South Africa, England , Newzeland 😂
This sport is Restricted as Fuxk 😂
Deep Dasgupta has become the Indian expert who gives anti India points of view.
If Indian players play outside
What's spcl with IPL then😂
Question is why would they even if they are allowed to play? They can earn much more out of one IPL season than playing all around the world in multiple leagues... Get a better debater than Dasgupta guys... likes of Kartik would be ideal
Deep Dasgupta needs to be concise, he is too verbose and goes round and round on a topic which implies a confused mind. 🤔
Only some players 😂 definitely not Kohli and Sharma
There is no upside of Indian players playing in the other leagues. What it would do is, it would devalue the IPL by taking away the novelty. So basically filling up the coffers of these other leagues and their boards who have done nothing.
These boards cannot afford to pay anywhere near the money. So no monetary benefit, infact loss.
In terms of sporting reasons. India pretty much dominates everyone in T20's at their home as well. So not huge upside there as well.
Net negative huge loss for IPL and BCCI with infinite upside for other leagues.
Might have made sense if Indians were allowed to play outside and things had panned out this way. In the absence of that, everything you said remains speculative
In terms of money in cricket is concern India is the biggest market so why our boys goes outside it's like asking Alpachino to leave Hollywood & join some Pakistani film industry.🤫
Blast is far better than Hundred.
Unfortunately we indjans dont know how to run things. Anyone would want to work for a foreign employer and not an indian one
I still want don't get it how the Indian women's team can play in the Hundred and Big bash but the mens can't.
That's for now. Wpl only started last year. Once it gets bigger indian women won't also play outside.
IPL IS THE 5th BIGGEST SPORTING LEAGUE IN THE WORLD AFTER ONLY BASKETBALL AND EPL!!There is your Answer..
@viansingh1825 It’s not about the size of the league; it’s about player participation. Most marquee international players take part in the big leagues, including the IPL, but the exclusion of Indian players doesn’t reflect well. I’m sure allowing Indian players to participate in other leagues would help those leagues grow significantly as well.
@@iamsid23 INDIAN'S are playing bilateral series in those times
They are not sitting idle at home to play in those league's
We play 280/320 days of cricket
Atleast do some research before posting
Retired players should be allowed atleast. Players over 35 who are retired should be allowed to play ipl and other leagues.
Already allowed. Those not contracted with BCCI can play
One needs to be retired from Indian cricket & IPL both to play overseas. Like DK who will play in SA20 this yr.
I am saying if one retires after 35 or BCCI informs someone that they are not going to be picked for indian team anymore then they should be allowed to play IPL as well as other leagues because that player gains nothing from playing domestic anymore. Like shikhar dhawan... He cannot play other league's because he wants to play IPL but there's no point for him to play domestic.

Personally no.
India and cricket is very soon going to be analogous with USA and Basketball.
There are some countries interested in the sport, but there are no international tournaments as such apart from the Olympics. It's all about NBA.
With the way it's going, with Indian fans being ignorant about how BCCI is murdering the international game, just being cheerleaders of the bullies and thinking India = BCCI, international cricket will not survive outside of India, Australia and England in the next 10 years.
Come 2050, Cricket will be mostly a franchise run sport. Today's average keyboard-warrior, happily immature ICT fan will be in their 40s and 50s, not caring about the sport, whilst kids born today will not know about South Africa and New Zealand and Pakistan, they'll just care about MI and CSK and RCB. IPL will be played 8 months a year, and just like the Americans call the baseball series as the World Series, but only US and Canada play in it, we'll do the same with cricket in two and a half decades.

Not possible... Can't risk our players health in mediocre leagues with shockingly low pay and quality.
Need them to be fit for internationals
Internationals won’t exist in the future. It’ll all be T20 leagues.
Deep Das gupta doesnt really know much when talking about other leagues. These guys apart from IPL and Indian games dont really watch anything
Bcci will never allow
India has a double standard when it comes to exclusivity. It's unfair to restrict players based on franchise and country goals. A player should have his freedom to choose. So I do disagree with Dasgupta for a large degree.
he has commentator contracts with BCCI so he cannot say anything against them. BCCI is a farce.
Others come to play IPL due to money...we don't need money our players are payed enough don't need to burn them down with excessive matches...also no need to give our players to foreign leagues so that they can make money out of India again... Colonialists MF's can get stuffed
Holding your power is not wrong
Contracts and freedom don't go hand in hand.
If Kohli is playing for some random franchise, RCB will not carry the weight that it does.
Because india have not only IPL.

Why players like prithvi shaw padikal should play and improve in quality T20 leagues it's benifitial for indian cricket
in Sehwag's words: "We are rich. we dont play in poor countries" Ranji match fee >> SA,CBL,100
This is one of the reasons why there is no chance of developing the game outside of India. You want several worldwide leagues that are lucrative and will make other countries money, but India and their cricket board don't want that.
They're holding down other cricket leagues to put the IPL on a pedestal
