Woah, somehow watching a SotN playthrough with the Curse of Darknesss soundtrack in the background reminded me of how Alucard basically slept through his dad resurrecting and causing havoc multiple times. Wonder why Dracula never went "Hey, where's my emo traitor son? Is he still alive?".
To answer the question earlier in the run.The soundtrack in Vampire Survivors "Ode to Castlevania" DLC (yes I know it's cheating but hear me out). They have some amazing remixes, especially for Bloodlines, that are wonderful to listen to and elevates Bloodlines tracks to godly status. As far actual 'vania's tracks, I would say it's a toss up. I obviously love SOTN, but Lamnent of Innocence and Bloodlines in itself has some neat tracks too, in the latters case especially with the VS remixes. Seriously, the elevation between the remix versions of Reincarnated Soul and Iron Blue Intention and the originals are insane.
"Do like, whales ever fuck with the underwater sea wires, ever? Is that a thing?" No, but sharks will occasionally go up and bite the undersea internet cables. The cables give off electric signals that sharks pick up on with their electroreception, so they get curious, and as curious sharks tend to do, they give it a nibble. This is a well-documented occurrence, and I highly recommend looking up pics and videos of it.
It's not that a 2D sprite-based games are more expensive to make than a 2.5D game, 3D is always much more expensive. The problem is that specially in the japanese dev space it's really difficult to find the people that have the skills that you need for a large scale 2D sprite game like RotN would've needed, most of the old sprite artists over there moved over to 3D because it was in demand since 2D games were basically dead beyond portable consoles, not to mention that 3D also pays more. There aren't that many indie devs making sprite-based games in japan either (and they're likely busy with their own projects). But RotN could've still looked very good, it ended up looking really cheap because they had promised to release on a billion platforms and had to make the asset quality a middle ground where you could realistically scale it them down to run well even on a 3DS. That stuff is a managerial nightmare, they cut down so many of the promised ports and still had problems getting stuff to work properly.
Have you ever considered a turbo mode like how DMC does it? I know you play for times but boosting the game speed by 20-30% for a run would be cool to watch you play mechanically faster!
Honestly, it's hard to say what my favorite Castlevania soundtrack is. All I can say is that I don't really like the Harmony of Dissonance soundtrack. That being said, hearing the Curse of Darkness soundtrack makes me want to play the game again. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to it. My PS2 broke years ago and the game isn't available on the PS store. I can only hope it gets rereleased one day as a part of a collection.
After the "Final Update" broke the game with a new softlock and paywalled new achievements behind an extra game mode nobody asked - in DLC 7 years after the game released - no one should trust Igarashi and all others involved in the production of Bloodstained.

Castlevania Legends's songs go so incredibly hard. It's wild what they did with the GB's limited sound hardware
21:56 Joke's on you, you come to Brazil now.
2:43 one of my favorites Castlevania Ost is Ghostly Theater from Lament of Innocence
hilariously Curse of Darkness is definitely one of my favourite Castlevania OSTs, alongside Order of Ecclesia. Fun to hear it for this rando!
i was listening to hard dubstep while you were playing and your comments about the music synced up. it was epic funny

My favorite OST is portrait of ruin. ESPECIALLY crucifix held close. its so good
All of the Castlevania osts are awesome, the most nostalgic for me is Super IV. It’s quirky and jazzy
Rondo of Blood with Castlevania 3 right behind it... then Symphony of the Night. Bloodlines is pretty great too.
I watch both the stream and the vod, and leave a comment for the algorithm god. Columbia is insane btw.
My favourite soundtrack is "Don't wait until night(Julius' theme)" from AoS
My fav song is probably Dracula Castle (castle entrance) of sotn.
My personal fav sound track is SOTN. All of them are pretty good though
mentioning Brazil is the single greatest UA-cam Hack of all time, you do it once and comments will show on droves
Don't have a single favorite but several on various castlevanias
My favourite Castlevania soundtrack is Overworld Day from Terraria.
Dawn of Sorrow ost definitely.
HOW COULD YOU NOT REMEMBER BALJHET MOUNTAINS?!?!
Curse Of Darkness soundtrack is classic, but I gotta give it to Lament Of Innocence honestly has one of the better soundtracks with SoTN
Colombia mentioned!
21:56 Dr4gonBlitz, please come to Brazil :v
My favorite is Bloodlines and Rebirth
