The strat for empress bulblax is to just punch the babies. throwing pikmin at them is just risky, because they can instantly eat pikmin unlike most enemies.

Your game is crashing due to breadbugs appearing on the surface. It is likely that when the game tries to deload all entities at the end of the day, an issue occurs when handling that enemy and halts the procedure, thereby causing the crash. On all the days you crashed at the end (4 and 8), we see a breadbug at 22:59, and at 1:10:42, and 1:25:34 (he has come to say goodbye to you). As we see after, the game crashes. I only know this because some devlogs of another Pikmin 2 hack (i think New Year?) mentioned this exact problem, so there is really nothing you can do.

Does this mean if you killed all breadbugs, it wouldn’t crash? Or is it that as long as breadbugs have existed on a day, it’ll cause a crash?
@@yaldabaoth7603 That would make the most sense, since items spawn into the world when you defeat the breadbug. So, all items would be accounted for.

In all honesty, I was so hyped to see a part 2 for the randomizer. Now Im hoping that there will eventually be randomizers for Pikmin 3 and 4 just so I can see more of your content :D
3 would probably be easy enough, though it's also definitely possible if the seed/RNG is bad enough, that you could realistically just force-lose due to finding no fruit potentially.
4... it depends on what you randomize.
I feel like the dandori stuff would either be nigh impossible to randomize in a winnable way, or almost always be easier, depending on which one we're talking about.
And I 100% feel like you'd have to remove the timer from them.
I honestly feel like 2 probably randomizes the best simply because there's so much to it, and it's so ridiculously open. Unlike 4, it doesn't rely on overly specific mechanics and systems for each stage. + enemies actually pose a threat still.
3 definitely works, and would be quite fun honestly.
4... I just feel like has too much focus on side content (night missions, dandori challenges) to really be able to do an extensive randomizer and have the game be anywhere near "playable". I mean, imagine getting the final boss in like, a night mission or a dandori time trial as a required fight.
So I could be wrong, but I remembered something from when I watched another guy do this randomizer. The game will always crash at the end of the day if a Breadbug in the overworld has an item in its nest. That might be part of your problem, and why you got stuck on day eight.

Well now that you think about it, the first crash from Olimar was because of a giant space rock so I wouldn't say the planet did that.
Pikmin 2 landing didn't really crash at all.
Pikmin 3 The Drake crashed due to something on the ship or the planet.
Pikmin 4 The Entire rescue team took the same fate as The Drake in Pikmin 3.
However, Pikmin 4 shows how many people crash landed on PNF-404 so Pikmin 4 started that.
Its more so because every landing so far has had an accident, of varying severities. But it can't be denied that these accidents are not coincidences. And as for the asteroid, Olimar had multiple parts in the Dolphin that should've alerted him or defended him against it, the asteroid was not normal.

I would think that Pikmin are already "sentient". They are obviously capable of suffering, thus their cries when they are attacked. They seem to be able to take the initiative (by being endlessly distractible and taking up causes when they are dismissed). Their ability to receive instruction seems to be proof enough.
They at least seem more conscious than ants, who probably have no sentience at all. Pikmin evolution is a curious topic.
