My peloton bike + and tread have been a game changer since we had our daughter. We also have a pretty solid garage gym. It’s made it so unbelievably easy to stay in shape. I dislike being locked into any ecosystem but I can’t deny that it has worked for me.
I had a Pelton bike a few years ago ending up selling it because I fell of the wagon and didn't use it for a while. Debating about coming back now that they offer to rent the bike which pretty much is the same cost as buying it without the commitment.
I really enjoyed your video. I’ve had a gym membership for 20+ years, exercise regularly and bike outdoors. Last year, I let my gym membership lapse and worked out from home. I have weights at home and work out regularly. The only thing missing was indoor cardio equipment. I purchased the Peloton Tread last Wednesday and the next day I purchased the Bike+. I already had an indoor bike; however, with the Bike+ was a huge upgrade. Tread arrived on Tuesday and Bike arrived the next day. Since they’ve been here, they both have received a lot of use. I liked the concept of classes; however, I never took advantage of them at my local gym. However, I loved the idea of using them from home and I am enjoying Peloton’s trainers. I researched for several months before making the purchase. My only regret is that I did not purchase them sooner.
Hi Levi, enjoyed the video and your conclusion makes perfect sense to me. I have been doing strength training for years with a trainer, but I was doing very little cardio and so I bought the peloton to make it easier to do cardio on my “off” days. That has worked really well, because it’s so easy just to jump on the bike at home when I have a spare 30 minutes, but the completely unexpected bonus was the yoga content. I am now doing an average of five yoga sessions a week, and the positive impact on my flexibility and range of motion is incredible even after only a few weeks. The Peloton yoga instructors, especially Ross, Denis and Kirra, are excellent, and very accessible to people (like me) whose primary interest is from the angle of fitness. So I am continuing with my main dish strength training at the gym but have added side dishes of cardio and flexibility that weren’t in my diet before!
I agree, the Peloton App has an unbelievable library of training content. The yoga is excellent. It sounds like you’ve got a great balance in activities, love it! Thanks for watching!

That’s exactly what kicked us into buying the bike, too. Really glad to hear that you’ve found success with it, thanks for dropping in!

Ah, nice! I actually didn’t know you could rent the bike, that’s a great option.

Glad you’re getting good use out of it! Honestly it’s an impressive product, we’re still riding ours hard.

Main dish and side dish is a great metaphor!
I use that one a lot! Glad it hit home!
I love my bike and tread.
I love our bike, too. I hope that came across in the video because I really am a fan!
What generation do you have?
I'm not sure, but it's old haha. We bought it new in Feb 2019. We run this thing hard and I'm impressed with how it's held up.
