  • What happens when you buy a discontinued model made by company that is no longer in business and has no instructions? Let's find out together. We will test my vision, dexterity, and patience. We're also trying a few different cameras (18 minutes in) so you guys can watch me work and hopefully see what's happening from now on. Please let me know your honest thoughts as well as what we should make the mounting base from. Thank you all for watching, commenting, and subscribing. If you enjoy the video please leave me a thumbs up.

Awesome little kit. Very good job getting it together and running first air supply!!!

Thank you Mr. Chris. I was pretty excited when it took off by itself too, I was looking at the gauge and heard hissing (thought we had a leak) 👍

What should we use to make the mounting base from? What were your thoughts on the different camera on this video? Brutal honestly please 👍

      Walnut with popular trim?

@@chriscurl9040 I'll have to give that a shot, I think the contrasting colors would be different for sure. Maybe I'll make a few different bases (record the steps on one) and then see how everyone reacts? Thanks again Chris, I always enjoy reading your comments 👍

Mr. Appleton is incredible, his channel is one that motivated me to get out there and give it a shot on UA-cam also. I am always excited when he shares a new video. Thank you for sticking with us and for commenting 👍. You're one of guy's that when I say "you guy's are GREAT" I'm saying it to you.

interesting and there is even less engine?
there are lenses for the camera to reduce the focal length and capture very small details ...

I really do need to figure out what to use for recording. Some models are too large to fit into the focus area, and like this one, there are some that are too small. I'm looking into several options that might suit both and also allow me to work around the camera so you guys can see it just how I do. I will definitely check into the lens options and see what happens. I really do appreciate your comment and the suggestion 👍

I watch a watch repair channel, Nekkid Watchmaker, who does some really amazing close up camera work. Might be a bit extreme for what you're doing, but might give you some ideas. The phone camera was definitely better than the GoPro. The audio was a bit off, but not horrible

I will try the phone again on the next video and see if the audio improves. I could only imagine the camera setup one would need for watch repair and the patience also. I had a bit of a challenge loading and editing the footage from 2 formats and trying to get them to work together on this video.

Always a great choice. I think I will make several different ones (record the steps on one) and see how you guys decide? This will be a fun experiment project 👍. Thank you again for commenting 🙂

That's a shame. This was a well made kit that would be great for model engine enthusiast's of any skill level to build (with or without instructions). It would be great if someone in the USA picked up their manufacturing again. Thank you for commenting and for watching 👍. What are your thoughts about the different camera and what we should make the mounting base from?
