So it's not an AXE FX or a Kemper (each 3-4 times more expensive). But it does have a good selection of usable presets, great sound and a very good interface. For the money, what's not to like. Throw in third party speaker IRs and it becomes a bit of a must have! I can feel the onset of GAS!
Hello Guitar Man. Nice demo. My big question is how to use it as stomp boxes. I have watched 30 videos on this an everyone changing things by hand. Can this be used like the NUX Cerberus, where you can hit the buttons as pedals? For example, I may have a song where I start with light distortion, chorus, and wha, then in the middle phaser, distortion and no wha, etc. How do you do it on one of these? I want to sell all of my stomp boxes!
The left two buttons are for swapping between presets,, the right button is for changing something within a preset. like done in the video around 0:49 for example. You can programm it to do several things at once, like switch off delay and switch on OD
Nice and usable I think but one flaw is the portability,..no use of Batteries on this...which means you must have a power source to operate it...🤔could be an inconvenient issue at times! The Boss GT1 or Zoom G3x have that covered. Would have been better if MORE other presets were also featured like;..Chorus,Flanger,Wah & Clean Tones...to name a few...😒...or how about plugging in two amps directly for a sound comparison!? May be a good pedal but can’t determine that from this demo vid.. ...just saying!...v(‘, ‘ !)
David suzuki This unit is a very small fraction of the price of either AxeFx or a Kemper, so it's apples and oranges for those. This model retails for $299, more in line with the budget point of a Boss or Zoom multi effects unit, but tonally speaking, it's all up to the listener. What you do get with the GE200 is very high quality tones and usability at a fair price.
Hi, do you or anyone know if there's a Mac editor for this unit? Looking at the downloads page on their website it only shows one for Windows. Just wondering.... thanks!
Which do you think have the best hard rock 80s tones. The zoom g3x or the mooer ge200.??

Cool video. I have a question, can this unit do harmonies (harmonizer boss like) ?
Sort of. It has a pitch shifter, which you can adjust the semitones in and adjust how loud it is in the mix to make a kind of makeshift harmony.

You can have one modulation per preset to arrange however you want.

Good news is that it's clearly just a stupid UI limitation and not a hardware issue. So it easily can be fixed with a future firmware update... :)

Joel Wiley It seems that at the moment there is only the Windows editor from what we know.
