I haven't taken the gun apart yet so I can't say for sure. The hopup chamber is TDC, so I think it's not compatible with the common hicapa hopup chambers. I think the hopup bucking should be the same though.
The full lower is tm compatible, can have a standard slide thrown on it. as for the upper only the inner barrel, bucking, nozzle, recoil guide rod, and recoil spring are tm spec but to my knowledge because of a locking tab on it is only compatible with ssp-1 and ssp-5 frames
Overall, I prefer the TM because I built it myself and customized it to my liking. The SSP5 is good, and is a nice option for people who’d want an “upgraded” pistol out of the box.

How about we magazine?
WE mag works, but the fps will be lower than the stock mag. Also the slide may not be lock back every time.
