I think these monuments are linked to lack of leap year so that they could track the season in right timing and kind of a festival monument

Have been out to this site. Am not sure it is thousands of years old. They say it has been carbon dated but to my knowledge you cannot carbon date rocks. The rocks are about 2 to 2 1/2 feet tall (largest) and are in a grass field. If they are thousands of yours old I would think they would be buried by now due to natural decay and buildup of surrounding flora, however they sit proud. Just my 2 bobs, very nice site to visit however.

Wow, someone who visited this archeological site. You are correct that rocks cannot be carbon dated, but either artifacts, or vegetation underneath the rocks can and that is what they probably did. if the site is dry and desert or savanah like, rocks can be exposed for thousand, even hundreds of thousands or millions of years without being covered by vegetation and it also depends on the local geology.
