Funny thing with stone circles, there will always be 2 rocks lining up with sunsets. But you dont need a whole circle of rocks to achieve this (only need 3) so it kinda voids the "astronomical calendar" theory

I quote from it, "We conclude that it is extremely unlikely that the outlier stones happen to indicate the astronomical alignments by chance. Instead, we conclude that the alignments were almost certainly constructed deliberately by a human being to indicate the equinoxes and solstices". Fortunately for you, much work has gone into studying this site, both from traditional owners, and the wider scientific community, therefore your original thinking in this instance is not unnecassary. Please try to read at least a little bit of information before making comments like this in the future.
