Great build and wonderful step through in explaining about this kit..Just finished the Zvezda Panther D and the one strong point was the easy tracks. The way Zvezda tackled the tracks was very well done and simple..But I’ve got a few Meng Panthers in the hoard and this video gives me a good heads up what to expect with these kits..Thanks again for a great video and all the best.👍

Cheers mate thank you, Ah you saying that with zvezda, the tracks are there strongest point I think, link in link looks great but half the time its more than half of the build time! Nice, I think In time I would like to make another meng panther. Wish you all the best with your Panther builds. Trying anything new out on them?

@@scalestuff1066 I aimed at doing weld seems on the Zvezda panther but the plastic was so tedious to work with..It didn’t sand to dust but to strings,so some extra thin help..So the thought of cutting and drilling out was a task too far by the builds end..But my next Panther I’m gonna try my first zimmerit, though decals..I’ve got the Meng Panther early A and the decals for it..Not a great leap into the unknown,I know..But a good first step..
Thank you for your very kind reply..Keep well and on with the great work.!👍

Ah yeah god only knows what they use in there plastics, doesnt help encourage people to try new things, but then again the strange things that model makers subject there models to is a lot of times out of the scope of the makers imaginations!
Nice zimmerit really adds a certain something to a model, I have found tho it pays to be a bit lighter on the weathering with it tho, as it really can make a tank look super dusty. And ah a step is better than a leap ive found walk before running, its cheaper on the bank that way to. Hope your having a good weekend, and I will Ive got 3 dinosaurs on the bench at the moment, but no paints to base them so ive ended up with a bit of a model traffic jam

Very nice, looks like a solid kit and you did a great job making it your own.

Thanks mate, tho I think I could do better if I did it again, the zimmerit threw me abit on this model, and I think having used it once I could do it better if I had another shot at it

@@scalestuff1066 I think that's largely how it goes for a lot of us lol. The kit makers must know this, it's all a scam to get us to buy the next kit to try and do better ;)

Deffo hahahaah, tbh I don't know if you do this, but you find yourself revisiting the same kit years later, and then again years later, almost a bench mark model, to check how your progressing? I think my versions of this would be a Tamiya tiger, and airfix spitfire and 109

I find about 6 years seems to be the one, you look at something you thinks awesome now, and go, I bet I could do that better, then the cycle continues

Spectacular model mate, love the paint and weathering.
I'm hoping to build a Panther myself, may easily go for a Panther G Late kit by Tamiya since I had a great time with their Tiger 2 kit. it would be cool to see you have a go with the Tamiya's Panther G Late kit mate.

Cheers mate, tbh I have been looking at them for a while, ill see if I can get one at the right price, might be a couple of years till it showed up on the cannel though as I'm well backed up at the moment but might bring some of the 1:35 models forward as there's a lot of these 1:76 kits in line atm.
