I was thinking SU-27 would be a great option for the dual 40 mm set up and should be easy to scalenyp if you wanted to do a 50mm version too. I made an SU-27 and its my best flying foamboard plane so far, i looked to RC Powers for design ideas.
@@Catfoolyou so I’ve had tons of experience hot wire cutting foam sectioned jets from Lowe’s and Home Depot foam. Yes the airframe will be possibly 100g lighter but it’s actually less durable than LW or EPP / EPO foam planes. Insulation foam planes usually need a layer of fiber glass then you’re offsetting the weight
@@hotlapkyle True, though I've heard that LW-PLA (or any 3d printed airframe) is not very crash-resistant, so I tend to stick to XPS foamboard of different thickness.
You have to do a twin 40 f14 that is the clastic top gun fighter and it would be awesome, swing wing would be a bonus keep up the great work!
