The pitching and formant shifting algorithms are probably the best in terms of quality(and its real time). I've seen Nasko use this in cases where a synth couldn't be easily repitched because of the static comb/flange filters. automating the formant and pitch macros are also really smooth.

Alterboy sounds good until you try to apply it to stereo vocals, wet vocals, stacked vocals, or non-vocal recordings. Elastique Pitch thrives in all the situations, whereas Alterboy has numerous limitations

Does it just pitch shift all the vocals linked into the same pitch or does it actually do something different?
I was thinking if its the same to group bv and add a alterboy to the group

Yes all vocals get transposed by the plugin on the group. I’m using it 50% wet. Unfortunately, Alterboy’s algorithm can’t handle multiple stacked vocals at once. It’s for dry monophonic audio only 👎 Alterboy’s algorithm also can’t handle wet vocals and it often sounds robotic whereas this remains organic, even during automations

You dont need this... ALL modern daws are using the same realtime pitch algorithm from Elastique... sounds the same. Double a track and pitch one e.g.

PnT is mainly used in post-production in films to sync sounds with irregular framerates. It's the best sounding but it's AAX and Mac and the lite version is AU only.
Elastique Pitch is probably the one that I actually use frequently.
