I would find it plausible that she immersed herself into her movie role (that's what actors do, right?) - which would make it somewhat understandable, that she wasn't responding to his request for braking, but rather this tough soldier pushing beyond limits

I realize that there is a large group of miserable people, who hate anything that makes them feel small, so to combat this, they attack anyone who gets any attention. It's honestly sad to think about. "I hate Conan so I'm going to view his videos and let his fans know how much I dislike him". This was a good one. Conan was on fire right from the start, he and Andy had a very chummy vibe, Fan Corrections were wonderfully stupid, Emily Blunt was captivating, in every way, Brent Morin was quite an entertainer, and the musical guest was top class. An hour well spent.

In the movie, she's the greatest soldier the world has. In reality, she can't drive a vehicle around a corner. Sounds about right for Hollywood.

I really liked this film. I liked the ending very much.
Emily Blunt in Edge of Tomorrow made me less of a sexist pig, haha. Ok, maybe I wasn't much of a sexist pig to begin with but I usually feel uncomfortable when female protagonists kicks ass in action movies (Uma Thurman in Kill Bill is one of few exceptions). Emily Blunt in Edge of Tomorrow... believable (as believable as one could be in a sci-fi groundhog day), likable, tough as nails, funny and sexy as fuck without being a flimsy slut. Ok, the "training grounds push-up"-scenes can turn a gay female aardvark into a trans-species lesbian but it's not how the movie or Emily herself portray the character.
Entertaining movie, well written script, Tom Cruise delivers as usual... but Emily Blunt stole the show. I'm sold. Quentin, if you're working on a script with a female protagonist write it with Emily Blunt in mind.

Why can't conan ever get A list celebrities on the show like tom cruise, nic cage, angelina jolie, etc. No one REALLY famous, only b list actors.
Conan himself has said that often times the lesser known talents are the greater talents and are often more entertaining than A-list actors. I think in general he is bored by "celebrity" and enjoys the art more than the industry.
Emily may not be what you would call 'A list' but she's acknowledged by everyone in the industry as one of the best actors around

You're joking but a lot of people aren't and it's offensive and it's exactly what triggers a reaction like hers. To the point where she would become stubborn and not do what she has to do just cause she's being looked down upon. It would be ok if it was once or twice but you basically clash with stuff like that daily and no matter how strong you are mentally sometimes it gets so overwhelming you just want to slap someone. Which is where I find the comedy in men complaining about women's actions when most of the time they're the ones responsible for triggering that behavior.
