I used to have that same issue and SURPRISE! My hair was damaged! So I cut it and now my curls are there and FLOURISHING! Plus, you gotta find what products work for your curls and coils. For me, my wash n go does best when it's freshly washed and I do the LOC method with a lighter curl definer (Curl n Style Milk). Plus you wanna make sure your hair is SUPER damp b4 u apply anything after washing.
basically water moisturizes, amd moisturized hair leads to smooth bouncy and defind curls. After that, products either further moisturize or further define curls, at least in the sense of a wash n go. You just gotta see which works for you. Hope that helps a bit somehow

After I do my products and scrunching etc when my hair is drying I flip it upside down and put clips in the top/mohawk section near the roots and I side part to the opposite side until it's fully dry. Helps a lot with volume on the top and makes it so I don't get a triangle going😉.
Ok, so I kind of need advice on this please. I have naturally oily hair but my hair is also naturally curly, so by using a sulphate free shampoo it just makes my scalp much oiler. Any suggestions as to what to do?
