Mike Miller and Harmony Street capture both the moment and the memories of rock n roll's early days. Thank you for presenting and preserving the musical soundtrack of my generation. I am 71 years old, but your magnificent performance carries me way back to my pre-teen years. A simpler time when Doo Wop ruled AM radio.

Except since then, global poverty rates have greatly decreased, literacy rates increased, life expectancy increased greatly, child mortality has significantly decreased... these are just a few. The news only seems to report the negative side of things. Don't be fooled.

I've loved music of all genres going back to classical pieces. Some listenable music is still made but I have to dig further to find it. Have just discovered Alec Benjamin, Jpolnd, and Shawn Mendes thanks to the Netflix series, Bridgerton. The only music I've never gotten into is rap as it lacks softness to my ears although the writer is telling a harsh story. I also find that many of today's songs repeat the same three words, though not as a refrain.

73 in a couple of days and, yes, I do remember. Somehow it was early fall and the leaves were just beginning to drop from the trees. It was still comfortable in the evening, and there was a golden full moon. People were happy and the times were good... I remember. And the music was Doo Wop. How we loved it back then, and how we savor it now...

I remember singing this with some friends under a lamp post in the 60's in Greenwich Village in Manhattan. Not as good as this but a lot of fun in those days.

Mike, I discovered this song and first recorded the prototype with the Earls...., the writer who brought it to me had it originally titled, "REMEMBER WHEN." When I wouldn't release it on my Rome label...., (Because I wanted to re-record it) the Earls ran out on our "Handshake contract" and went to OLD TOWN where Stan Vincent re-cut it (Improved on my rough demo) and they retitled it, "REMEMBER THEN."

Great performance. I love me some Doo-Wop. I really miss it as an art from. I often find myself singing "Ooh Hoo, chang-a-lang a shiggy bop," but I'd forgotten where I learned it, and here it is. Funny.

THIS is awesome to the maximus. Thanks for the upload. Shame it is 480 and out of focus, but the audio quality is great. The three ladies give it that something extra. 👍👍
